VR function is not very useful before 70mm, if you can; go for 70-300VR.
18-55 is good for beginner and for keeping your sensor from dust Go for 17-70Sigma sharper than 18-70Nikon and has macro functionality. |

Wanna ask you a question Bloodymax ... are you a photographer or just sitting at home and letting go lens? I notice you dun even know what are the usage of each of the lenses you have and you're considering letting go everything from Wide zooms to Tele zooms and you're just asking and asking without replying to any of the answers given to you.

ouch.. ac98.. that gotta hurt.
get the 18-200 VR. There is NO lens like it. If its too exp, dun get anything till u can get it. ur 18-55 is already excellent. I would stay away from any off brand lenses QUOTE(tiktir @ Mar 11 2007, 02:49 AM) VR function is not very useful before 70mm, if you can; go for 70-300VR. U dun shoot much do u? when shooting low light, longer exposures, even shooting at 18mm (lens setting), VR is of great help.18-55 is good for beginner and for keeping your sensor from dust Go for 17-70Sigma sharper than 18-70Nikon and has macro functionality.
