btw how long does ds game saves last?

Forever.
The only reason the normal save game didnt last when you play GBA last time is because all the GBA cart you might have bought is pirated version.

Original cart can easily be deferentiated with their see through casing and their exuberence price.

DS uses memory to write read the save file, hence the cart does not have any battery inside. When you save, the save file is written into the memory card of the cart. ( I think ? )

With the new solution available you do not need to buy a flashed ds or flash your ds.

Stay away from retailer that says they need to mod ur ds or any other thing.

Thousand apologies, I did not update the R4 magic onto my faq.

Flashing need to be done last time because flashing tricks the DS to boot games from slot 2 ( gba slot )

But with the new slot 1 solution EG R4,SuperCard Slot 1 and various others. There is no more need to flash your ds as all this carts can boot directly.
