Stupid movement.
The founder of this movement claims tha cheongsam is not traditional costume of Chinese, because it's Manchurian in origin.

But the facts are:
1. PRC government has already recognized Manchurian as Chinese.
2. Cheongsam may have its origin in Manchurian costume, but the modern design originated in 1930s Shanghai, well after the demise of Manchurian dynasty.
