Is there any freeware that can block the malicious dialer from secretly redirect my dial-up connection to other Internet access numbers that can lead to an unexpected increase in my telephone bil? something similar to tmnet xblocker.

Any firewall will be able to detect and maybe block the dialler's outgoing conenction.  And don't watch porn!

Dialers are no longer popular in the malware "society". Go get yourself a copy of Spybot Search and Destroy. It is excellent in fighting dialers.  Another option is Ad-Aware, AVG Anti-SPYWARE (Not Anti-VIRUS), Webroot Spysweeper and Spyware Doctor. Cheers!
