if they don't register as a business, they cannot deduct expenses incurred, and will have to declare the entire sum they receive as income...should not be difficult to determine, as it will all be with uber/grad database...

so they will need to register as a business, and then then can deduct legitimate expenses associated with the business...

if your total taxable income is less than rm3500, you will not need to pay any taxes as it's below threshold...but still need to declare....

Their turnover is unlikely more than half million, so no need register for gst...

That is tricky.... Normally LHDN will apportion a percentage, say a quarter to half, depending on the nature of the business....

I am saying if they are officially registered as a business....If not, then of course no vehicle relief allowed...

If they register as an enterprise, is sole proprietorship usually, then although they still declare as personal income tax, legitimate expenses related to the business are allowed....
