Hi guys,

We at Josh Lim & Associates have launched a new blog advertising service - Advertlets.com. Just so you know, we're also the same people behind the RedesignMalaysia.com initiative, a campaign for better broadband here.

What's the main selling point? Well, I guess some of you are signed up with Google Adsense - are you earning anything so far?. I don't think so, unless you're LiewCF. I think it's a problem currently - that there are not enough local, and relevant advertisers.

In solution to that, through Advertlets.com we've found a way to:

- let bloggers earn more, through having localized advertisements
- build more confidence for advertisers to put their advertising in blogs, by providing detailed demographics (eg, gender, age, profession, etc).
- made a very innovative AJAX engine where blog visitors can quickly take polls - these polls help to get demographics data for blogs, and also, bloggers can use the polls to find out more about their blog audience

Currently, we are running the open beta - you can see a few sites that already have Advertlets installed:

Amanz: Payment is counted on a CPM basis for the Sidebar Ad format. As for sponsored post it is a one off payment. Cheers.

Earl-Ku: Understand, sometimes you just need to get away right? Unfortunately nowadays, if you don't blog or msn for one day also people think you're dead or something happened to you liao. Haha.

how to resize the sidebar Ad? because it move my sidebar alignment. too big.

the payment counted from people doing the survey?

The purpose of the survey is so that we can match the best advertisers to you. Eg, if your blog has majority male, 21-25 year old professionals, then you can imagine how certain companies want to target that demographic.
