I think I'm going to get one of these. So cheap. Especially like the separate 2.4 & 5Ghz antennas.

True, true. But if <RM100, I don't mind. Would have been perfect if it was gigabit.

All I know the one who handle is the router
So if your router is good, should can handle many client
The repeater just give a boost signal
*
Not true, the router handles connections and routing. Let's say 10000 connections. Could be 100 clients x 100 connections each or 10 x 1000. The repeater, in addition to acting as a repeater back to the base station, is also acting as an AP to registered wifi devices. Some APs just can't handle too many, maybe 10, 20, 40 or 80. It matters because the AP does more than just boost a signal, it manages collision avoidance and retransmission to each and every device.

Having said that I'm sure the MiR3 can handle anything thrown at it in a typical residential environment.

Hi ,

Good day. I have managed to flash to Padavan, put in the VLAN tagging for TM UNIFI (Vlan 500)
I checked the PPPoE is connected  but i cannot seems to go anywhere. I cannot ping to 8.8.8.8 or anywhere.
Not sure what goes wrong .

If you get 172.24.x.x IP address means that your credentials are wrong or account was suspended.

Try using xxxxx@unifi. All in lower case.

Thanks, you are right. The small cap make a difference for the username@unifi

No problem. TM is just trying to be helpful by allowing us to connect even with a wrong password or username. It would have been more helpful if they just left things alone and and allowed the router to say authentication failed.

If you didn't have custom DNS, you would have seen this.
