Anybody from Bintulu? I asked TM Point here, they say all fiber areas here will not be eligible for Lite. Only those upgraded to VDSL will be eligible.

yes that is correct. chat with TM they also said the same thing. I asked them directly which tm cabinet I'm connected to, then straightaway can get the answer that cabinet support or not.

my house only covered for streamyx 8mbps before and no unifi since they keep calling me to upgrade it to 8mbps for rm 160... but i only used 4mbps for more than 3 years than i terminate it..
last week i go to tm point to check if my area is covered or not and they said my house is covered for unifi lite...
and i think i might get rm129 package without std 20 and no phone will be given..
just need to wait when the contractor come install it at my house

lucky you. My area also not have fiber unifi coverage and I'm using streamyx 8mbps right now. There's no unifi lite coverage for my area due to old infrastructure (still connected to old cabinet). Do update us when installation has been done at your home soon. icon_rolleyes.gif BTW, if you don't mind, can I ask where you live now?

Should have changed to Digi Infinity 80 when it was available.

U missed the deal. Else it can be a replacement since it at least has 5Mbps speed.

I think that is their marketing tactic.Same goes to Unifi Advance 30Mbps promotion last year la..First they said the price RM179 is valid until 31 December 2016..And then, they extend the promo until 28 Feb..Then 30 April 2017.They still want you to subscribe the price as they are targetting new customers. So I think this UniFi Lite package price will remain the same as long as they are new customers that are demanding fast Internet connection..
*
I think it depends on their target, once hit, maybe they stop offering. Since they keep on renewing the offer, it means that they have not met the target yet.

I personally dun like diGi too but if one has no unifi at home, it is indeed an alternative since it is only rm80.

I was stucked with streamyx 4Mbps for 2.5 years so I could feel the pain for and most importantly it is no where cheaper than fibre. Price I had paid was rm140 every month. Even maxis 10Mbps plan is rm139 only.

Now I am on rm179 unifi 30Mbps. Soon will be upgraded to 50Mbps for the same price. thumbup.gif

Usually how many days taken for tm and mcmc to give feedback to complaints made by user? It's been 2 working days but my report status still under investigating. Usually if i make a complaint directly via help@tm email, they will reply me within 24 hours even on public holiday. But mcmc complaints seems taking quite long to solve. Perhaps due to much more bureaucracy within them. sad.gif
