QUOTE(mrknight @ Apr 30 2017, 07:45 AM) Receive my first bill.. Good for u the first person here to use Unifi Lite. While using HypeTv everywhere how much does it effect other surfing devices? Is it true that dedicated STB does not share the 10Mbps bandwidth unlike UnifiEverywhere?Unifi lite : rm 99 Hypptv : rm 30 Total rm : 129 No voice std 20 The only thing that weird is they give me cordless phone and stb for hypp tv when they shouldn't and still got 3.7k tm rewards point worth rm 37 Need to ask them back about this since i cannot use that stb because this hypp tv package for unifi lite cannot use stb, only hypp tv everywhere for 2 devices... |

QUOTE(mrknight @ Apr 30 2017, 07:45 AM) Receive my first bill.. Heard that nowadays TM does not use FIBER TERMINATION BOX n cable is connected directly to FIBRE WALLSOCKET inside d house, True?Unifi lite : rm 99 Hypptv : rm 30 Total rm : 129 No voice std 20 The only thing that weird is they give me cordless phone and stb for hypp tv when they shouldn't and still got 3.7k tm rewards point worth rm 37 Need to ask them back about this since i cannot use that stb because this hypp tv package for unifi lite cannot use stb, only hypp tv everywhere for 2 devices... I think u can use the STB for the hypptv even with Unifi Lite. This post has been edited by MGM: Apr 30 2017, 11:22 AM |

QUOTE(spikey2506 @ Apr 30 2017, 12:01 PM) Mine installed a year ago. Fiber straight from the FDP on pole into my BTU/ONU. I think depends on the installer U mean the installer skipped the FTB n FWS? So if some high vehicle like crane entangle d overhead cable the whole setup like BTU/RG/PC will be pulled along. Sorry exaggerated. |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ May 3 2017, 02:46 PM) Currently using streamyx. I have registered for Unifi Lite. Found this t&c 2. How will the all new UniFi benefit me? The all new UniFi will enhance customer experience by providing faster internet speed, more entertainment options, affordable voice packages and better service stability. The all new UniFi also allows customers to maintain their existing TM Phone number with NO additional fee. For more information, kindly visit your nearest TMpoint. When I refered this t&c to the CS who help me to register She said otherwise but if I want to keep my phone number in my Streamyx plan, what I can do is after the Unifi Lite is installed, go to their office to cancel the streamyx plan but ask to retain the old number but need to pay rm1, any call will be chargable, so I will use this to receive call only. |

QUOTE(cucubud @ May 3 2017, 04:41 PM) From what I understand, this is to move your existing phone number to Unifi Lite account. (CS said I can't do that)This one is to retain your Streamyx phone number for RM1 per month in addition to the Unifi Lite new phone number. You will have 2 phone numbers. (I was given only this choice to keep my old number) This post has been edited by MGM: May 3 2017, 04:58 PM |

QUOTE(birain @ May 4 2017, 12:50 AM) If addon Voice STD20, the new number will have 600 minutes of STD calls n unlimited free calls to TM fixlines. So u use old number to receive call only as every call is chargable. |

QUOTE(JamesBotak @ May 4 2017, 12:38 PM) You may call him and ask, Raffiq - 011 52356996 Did the installer installed the FTB(fibre termination box) n FWS(Fibre wall socket), or direct fibre cable from pole to BTU(modem)?I'm in S2 by the way. The agent brought the Unifi Lite brochure with him but I didn't managed to take a pic of the brochure as my phone was inside my house. He had a list of places where Unifi Lite is offered. FYI: 1. Unifi Lite is offered to places which already has fibre (Like in my case), but not all places have Unifi Lite. 2. Unifi Lite is also offered in certain places where there's no Unifi coverage. They are using copper via VDSL. The installer shared with me he just did an installation of Unifi Lite using copper before he came to my house. |

Installing my RM149 Unifi Lite now, using fibre directly to FWS then BTU. No FTB. No extra charges. I thought installation of 15m LAN cables n 15m of phone cable with 30m casing is FOC but installer said is chargeable. Anyone can quickly confirm on this? So will put all BTU, router n phone together. Will write on the job shéet about this.

For those who wants Unifi Lite eventhough Unifi Advance/Pro is available in your area, better be fast when TMpoint CS are still clueless abt Unifi Lite. I was told I was wrongly offered the Lite when I am not suppose to, cos in area where Advance/Pro is available Lite would not be offered.
