QUOTE(alien3d @ Apr 20 2017, 10:15 PM) meaning? base like old port concept.. ? or if more people have unifi that area will not offer if less offer? I think he means that TM is trying to make Streamyx users upgrade to UniFi Lite while making the normal UniFi users upgrade to Advance and Pro Plan. They want to make their port balance for all..MAybe something like that.

You guys TM Point are really good.At least they gave you proper answers.Unlike mine which they didn't even know that UnFi Lite 10Mbps has already exist.Reported to TM and I already got the report number and now waiting for them to settle their shit up.Damn TM Point.

The question is right now is why TM still does not update their website for UniFi Lite coverage and package ? Until today,it only have the normal HSBB UniFi Coverage check and Advance and Pro plan.Come on,they said 15 April 2017 is the release date and till today no news on the website. No wonder TM Point does not believe us.

QUOTE(AjkR06 @ Apr 21 2017, 06:26 PM) I just made a complaint to the MCMC by asking TM when they want to do the infrastructure upgrade around my area to support the VDSL2 card at the roadside cabinet. Let's see how it goes.... From what I see now, I will stuck at 8Mbps forever...... [attachmentid=8755276] This the cabinet where I was connected, at the front of my residential area. Max 8Mbps. [attachmentid=8755286][attachmentid=8755280] New cabinet with VC code that supposed to be "Unifi Lite-Able". The distance between my residential area with these two cabinets just around 1-2KM each other. Good luck man but I suspect later they will reply you saying that your place has low demands and ask you to fill in the demand list at the nearest TM Point or maybe they will give u an essay saying that TM will always improve their infrastructure and looking forward for you to support them bla bla bla.Typical reply from TM when it comes for MCMC complaint. QUOTE(Eralus @ Apr 21 2017, 06:29 PM) Check from CS TM also no coverage..as i suspect this unifi lite only for fibre coverage area Lagi sekali kena game sama TM And lagi sekali kena trail behind sama indon n thailand fibre internet It depends on the area actually. It's available in both HSBB (Fibre) and SUBB (Copper) area but it depends of the infrastructure. If your place have normal HSBB cable,TM will push you to subscribe 30Mbps and above. If you live in a SUBB area,You can subscribe it.Again, depends on the port your connected to.For now, only VC and VB cabinets support UniFi Lite for SUBB area.

QUOTE(mztang52 @ Apr 21 2017, 06:59 PM) TAD has a lot of limitations. If you stay in K.L or Cheras, you should go to TM Point at Ampang. I stay in Hulu Selangor bro.Which I depend only at TM Point Kuala Kubu Bharu for TM service inquiry but I didn't know they were so kayu. They didn't even know that UniFi Lite is avaiable. What's more shocking is that they said that my area does not have that service while TM HQ said that my address is already in their sytem...

QUOTE(monkeybeh @ Apr 24 2017, 02:15 PM) Thank you for contacting TM. Referring to the e-mail dated 22nd April 2017 on UniFi Lite inquiry. Upon checking in the system, please noted that UniFi Lite offered to the customer in SUBB area only. SUBB is referring to the area which TM has enhanced it's network infrastructure from exchange to the cabinet. We have checked again your address and found that your address is currently available for UniFi service under HSBB area (High-Speed Broadband). The minimum speed under HSBB area is 30Mbps which is UniFi Advance. For your reference, SUBB and HSBB are using different technologies, so the service offered in the area may not be the same. Therefore, the customer in HSBB area is not eligible to subscribe to UniFi Lite package. At this moments, UniFi Lite is yet open to the public. However, any new product launch will be announced in TM official website. You may check other UniFi offering packages and latest promotion https://www.tm.com.my/Pages/Home.aspx We hope the explanation has revert to your concern. As I expected from TM,They will push HSBB users to subscribe to a minimum of 30Mbps while prioritize the 10Mbps for SUBB area like me.I wish I could subscribe 30Mbps but TM does not want to put Fibre here...

QUOTE(fantasyisland @ Apr 24 2017, 11:45 PM) how to know which area is under SUBB aside from calling them? got any list or map? i called tm point my area, and they say they dono about unifi 10mbps SUBB is referring to Suburban Broadband.SUBB is most likely in a rural area which is outside a city and town.SUBB speed is low compare to fibre due to infra restrictions. If you're living in a area which don't have any fast Internet connection.By mean of fast,I mean an internet using landline cable and not signal tower like telco,Most probably, you're under an a SUBB area. But be aware, some SUBB area will have HSBB connection if there's many request from the locals.Depends on the area of course.

QUOTE(monkeybeh @ Apr 24 2017, 03:42 PM) don't know la why the hell they pull a non-transparent promo. so secretive for wat.. the current promo also ended at 31st May wondering if the price structure change after 31st May? I think that is their marketing tactic.Same goes to Unifi Advance 30Mbps promotion last year la..First they said the price RM179 is valid until 31 December 2016..And then, they extend the promo until 28 Feb..Then 30 April 2017.They still want you to subscribe the price as they are targetting new customers. So I think this UniFi Lite package price will remain the same as long as they are new customers that are demanding fast Internet connection..

On live chat they said my area doesn't cover but told me to double check. I've checked at tm point, it I see covered. I've checked both at TM Point and TM HQ.My area is covered. The thing is thay TM Point won't allowed me to subscribe due to them not know that package can be subscribe.I already reported to TM for further actions and still no news.

QUOTE(MrLoo @ Apr 26 2017, 11:48 AM) Guys, my area support 8mbps but no unifi coverage. Agent check says my area no unifi lite support as per on the list. TM hotline asked me to register interest with TMpoint so they will check whether my area suppork ma... so conclusion is? If you register interest with TM Point,That interest meaning will put you in the demand list and call you when the service is available. So I think it's best if you don't go there but you can try checking if you want to.
