So I've managed to get Unifi Lite 10mbps through a very nice reseller linked somewhere in this thread.

Originally, I went through few scenario prior to this.

TM Online Chat - Told me Unifi Lite is only for COPPER. I lulz but it's okay. Since they insist that I can't subscribe Unifi Lite, so be it.

Reseller 1 - Was helpful, took awhile to get information about Unifi Lite, inform me after have enough information. Was told that it is only available for trial at Klang Valley, for other region, need to apply and subject to approval. Another downside is that it is compulsory to get the RM129+RM20 package.

Reseller 2 - The one I engaged prior to Reseller 1, told me that it is compulsory to get RM129+RM20 package, but I told him I rarely stay at that home and I do not need the free call.

He decided to help me to do rayuan and try to process the application.

1 week later which is today, he told me that my application for RM129 success and TM will come to install Unifi at my home this Thursday.

I am very satisfied with the service he gave.

For the thumbprint part, Ill look for him when I get down to KL as there's a grace period of 3 months for that.

Normally UNIFI area no problem at all but for streamyx backbone, normally those place doesnt support 4mbps or 8mbps, 10mbps can forget about it:lol: But of course double check to confirm it.

Actually many insiders confused about the RM129 and RM149.

At first they said sell RM129 then after that said need sell RM149, thats why many ppls confused including me

But I have done many 10mbps application for KL/PJ/MSC customers for the pass few weeks.

Hi guys currently I'm using 8mbps streamyx in my house Taiping Perak..recently I went to tm point for enquiry about unifi lite..they said no Unifi lite in my area caused maybe in future there will be fiber supported in my area so they drop the unifi lite idea for now..for my knowledge its already been two years they told me that my area going to support unifi but till now nothing...anyway to solve this problem or have to look for any agent any idea guys..kinda wasting my money caused 10mbps user going to pay lesser than me..tq

Depends on the situation. Normally a normal application can be processed in 5-10 minutes.

Step by step:

1) Pls give an accurate address
2) if under coverage, proceed registration (thumbprint can be done later)
3) appointment for installation can be done on 48 hours


After UNIFI registration, appointment for installation can be done within 2 or 3 days (depends situation)

any reseller for unifi lite available for sg sumun, bagan datuk area?

my situation was the agent confirmed in their system my address is in coverage,
(means i'm pretty much guaranteed for rm149 package)
the tricky part is the RM129 package (mine is landed property in fibre area),
subject to agent appeal -> TM approval and 'site survey' some more (WTF).
everytime these cycle will take 7 days before i switch agent again.
So far all agents failed and I bashed each of them (because they talk cock & over-confidently)
