Installing my RM149 Unifi Lite now, using fibre directly to FWS then BTU. No FTB. No extra charges. I thought installation of 15m LAN cables n 15m of phone cable with 30m casing is FOC but installer said is chargeable. Anyone can quickly confirm on this? So will put all BTU, router n phone together. Will write on the job shéet about this.

That is the thing I am thinking, as long the cabinet can cope the voice, fax and some small users of streamyx users in kampung area, TM will never bother to upgrade it. Do hope the cabinet ran down by a lorry, make it a total lost. Hopefully the next replacement will be Vx series  biggrin.gif

ADSL modems and network components will be getting obsolete soon. If they don't upgrade you to VDSL2/FTTH, they will just switch off ADSL and offer you Webe (LTE) or Unifi Wireless (FTTN) in the future. You won't be using Streamyx ADSL in 2050. Imagine the mobile operators are removing 2G networks as it is no longer economical to keep the outdated technology!

ARCHER C1200, modem is Huawei HG8240w. They actually delivered with Hypptv STB n cordless phone, but after testing that the STB didn't work, only realised package doesnt come with these two items.

I don't think it comes with 15m utp cable and 15m phone cable. The router comes with 1.5m utp cable and the phone comes with 1.5m cable.

It is stated in the Unifi Service Acceptance form that the standard installation wiring includes 15m of ethernet/phone cable.
