Some guys said that there are some durian buffets in SS2 kl, however, someone said that they're in SS17...... I have no idea where should I go to so........
I love Durian soooooooooooo much, consequently, I decided to go to KL on May 5th,2017.....Will I have the opportunity to have the durian buffet in that time?
I need help....
And if you guys have any suggestions....Please tell me, and paste the specific address (and it is better to have a Google Maps Guide if it is available for checking), because I find that in Kuala Lumpur, there are location like SS2, but there is a section 2, too. It is a little tricky.
Thannnnnnnnnks a lot!!!!!!

remove your expectations

you will be disappointed to know that the buffet thing is a gimmic
and you will end up just buying a few 'because it is cheaper' boss

Some time back USJ 19 mall had a durian buffet outside,
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3617556/all
I went there with a friend twice, both time took the higher package... i think like RM15.
Satisfied, eat till die. Any odd one was thrown away by them and replaced without issue.

Like this no more ah? All naik harga?

alt hough your 'sometime back' may not be that long ago id advice you
to still remove those expectations as things are different now and will
be different in the future - everything has risen except our will to fight
the price hikes around us

good luck anyway but pls share with us if you do stumble upon such
deals anymore

That was only in limited numbers and sold out very fast. i went twice last year trying to eat after reading vkeong's post about it but both times also failed. in the end i just go SS2 (behind police station) paid RM30+ (cant remember exact) and wallop those normal durians to my hearts's desire. ate 4 durians all by myself.

i go find some good durian in meru, klang..rm10-15/kg for kampung and rm20-35/kg for d24/tembaga/mousan quite reasonable for the b40.. cry.gif

seller said made in pahang. luckily the seller is not datukship.

Just to update u all, we went there in may, and they conveniently only had rm88 packet.
Free coconut, free water, almost no one (gee i wonder why). We sat n ate some 20 durians between my sis n me. Service level was good, brought new durian quickly and helped us narrow down which we liked. Id prefer rm68 tbh, but what to do.

Anyway, seems all closed for cny. Anyone know if theres one open next week?

I prefer to buy the ready packed sold along those durian buffet. At least i can see and smell, despite may not be as fresh as newly opened.

Because i used to buy the whole durian by weight, ended up bland and tasteless. Highly disappointed with something not worth its price.

When i asked worker where did the durian come from he said Pahang local durian but it was so obvious all the durian carts were written in Thai.

Biggest rip off ever.
