QUOTE(kamikraze @ Apr 3 2017, 09:21 AM) If your new plan registered under same bill, then the rm52 will still reflect on your next bill until all used. Usually Digi staff will ask if you want to register the plan under same bill account or different. I just combine all plan under same account. Next 9 days, you'll receive new bill. After that will begin 30 days. Haha, so much hate. This cycle will end once there's no more content to be downloaded. nah, this kind of people have a lot of things to download just for the sake of downloading. or he might share it together with friends. or like somebody posted b4, tether and use for cybercafe

QUOTE(holocauster @ Apr 3 2017, 10:49 AM) Get off your high horse. If you want the guy banned, the reason should be TnC violation and nothing else. You don't even know if he's the one behind your area's congestion. And don't assume people have the same habit as you. Seriously, the word abuse have been thrown around here a lot. It was advertised as unlimited, and you expect people to only use it for wasap and fb? It's well within their (and your) rights. i. Peer to peer downloads is capped at 64kbps iv. The Plans are for personal usages only and not applicable to any commercial usages in any business premises including but not limited to restaurants, Internet café, game center or call center etc as well as other non-legitimate purpose to be determined by Digi. The Plans are not for reselling/rental purpose for profit or huge and continuous information transfer that affects the other Customers. Using it for commercial purpose instead of personal. Bypassing the p2p limit. Now that is abuse. Funny people. 500GB in a week is obviously something violating the TnC la bro. Let's take an extreme, assuming he streaming 4K HDR content from Netflix. Estimate 7-10GB data usage per hour. So in 1 week, he would need to spend 50-71 hrs on 4K HDR content to reach that 500GB usage. 7-10 viewing hours in a day. Not that it cannot be done, but ada byk masa dan TV contents to watch ke? Itu pun assuming speed maintain at 20-25Mbps consistently

QUOTE(more69 @ Apr 3 2017, 02:27 PM) u cant say morally wrong. if genuinely i have that much of user wans to use that bandwidth. if network clogged, how about digi stop accepting new applicants? just my 2 cents. how about DiGi implementing a rule that "after >xxGB of data usage, your traffic priority will be shaped during network congestion"? Fair right? But i can bet with you - those ppl that use 500GB will fucking complain it's unfair and misleading marketing on unlimited plans. Ppl have to fucking realise that wireless is not fixed-line.

QUOTE(wc_how @ Apr 3 2017, 05:38 PM) Technically, wired or wireless, there have a limited bandwidth for their backbone. For TM policy, they has the right to limit your speed up to 1/4 only. Unless you buy a leased line. And i don't see any morally wrong or user error here. User pay the money, they spend what they want to do (unless it against the digi policy, and digi stated download in high volume is a wrong doing.) And it is not user responsibility to control or protect the digi infrastructure, network or traffic, digi is the one who control it (that's why FUP kick in and prioritized the normal user traffic) But when FUP implemented to curb abuse, then you see ppl complain like hell. Maxis Biz 68/99, Celcom Burung Hantu are good examples
