What is the difference?

Tethering is when you turn you smartphone into a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot and share your phones 3G/4G data connection. Once you've turned tethering on, any device with a wireless connection can connect to the internet via your smartphone's connection

Cat 4 LTE-A means 10MHz + 10MHz. It's possible for any LTE-A network to have lower speed eg: LTE Cat 4 but LTE Cat 5 and above is definitely LTE-A.
*
So if i get LTE-A Mifi, i get more speed?

QUOTE(kae7 @ Apr 6 2017, 10:56 PM)
Huawei E5573 is better in term of ability to achieve higher download speed because it support LTE CAT 4. While ZTE MF93D is only LTE CAT3. Battery last much longer in ZTE MF93D. Almost double mAh.

I myself using ZTE MF93D that I bought 5-6 years ago and it is still good. Can get 40-50Mbps in my area. My area alteady support LTE-A, so maybe if I buy CAT6 device, I could achieve much higher speed. Test with iPhone 7 and could reach 115Mbps
*
waaa,

Confirm bro? got 115mbps with IP7?

iPhone 7 support LTE CAT9. up to 450Mbps
DiGi 4G+/LTE-A support up to 225Mbps I think. I saw one user posted here with better speed (around 140Mbps++)
*
QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 6 2017, 11:42 PM)
225mbps with 4x4mimo for 2600mhz and normal 1800mhz
Possible but duno whr is the location.... Lol
*
I plan to buy E5786 but scare that speed will remain the same.

Now using Ipad Air 2 as hotspot, CAT4 and my speed around 25-30mbps only.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 14 2017, 02:33 AM)
Just bought a LTE-A MiFi and will reach me soon, my friend is bringing for me from China. I will only get it in early May, so in the mean time will stuck with my 4G MiFi first which is very fast already, around 60Mbps now. laugh.gif I'm in a LTE-A area, so it is faster than 60Mbps. tongue.gif

I will be registering a Digi Infinite 150 plan later and I was choosing my preferred no. on yesterday, so lucky to have found an exact copy of my Celcom corporate no., just that the prefix is different i.e. 019 and 016 now. biggrin.gif The last 7 digits are exactly the same. rclxms.gif

Will bid farewell soon to my UniFi, luckily my contract is ending and suddenly thought of relocating to my sister's house, UniFi will be activated in her street soon, instead of I terminate it. She can have my RM 179 50Mbps package. biggrin.gif Good for me as I'm always travelling. rclxms.gif Can make use of Roam Like Home or if it is not part of the entitled countries, I can lend to my sister to use my data line while I'm in overseas. Not wasted like UniFi now. sweat.gif

Also, since I'm using dual SIM card phone and my Celcom corporate plan comes with 20GB, I'll soon suspend my Digi Ambassador data plan as well. tongue.gif Just stick to calls and SMS. laugh.gif Will rely on Celcom and my Digi MiFi for data. This Infinite plan gotta save me some money every month. tongue.gif

I just bought E5786 from brother andrew.

i notice DL/UP speed compare to CAT4 device.

But bit disappointed as E5786 will get warmer after using for more than 1 hour as i plan to use this E5786 as main router in my house...

you gotta get those 4G router with sim card enabled if you plan to use to put at house as main broadband.

E5786 is well suited for portable usage only.

Hmm. I don't do business but if you are willing to pay more and let my friend earn a bit of service charge. Then, you can PM me. smile.gif

Suddenly I regret of buying E5786. laugh.gif
Either keep it or sell it off later. laugh.gif

OK Sis, i will pm you after later.

QUOTE(kae7 @ Apr 16 2017, 03:01 PM)
No, I just pointed out that you dont like to charge, etc etc wth MiFi, but you still ask us to recommend the MiFi. Contradicting with the things that you dislikes.

Anyway, if you buy online especially from this site, no warranty provided in Malaysia.

Unlike you buy from the Malaysia companies, they do provide 3rd party warranties

Bro, can we off Wifi mode and use usb mode only for mifi E5786?
