Today, in my parents' ulu kampung, DiGi is the first telco that turned on LTE first. Suddenly, that DiGi Infinite 150 suddenly looks very appealing. Will look into this the next time I return there.

QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 28 2017, 08:36 AM) May i know whr is the kampung. U have to speedtest 1st as digi deploy LTE 900mhz at kampung instead of 1800mhz and 2600mhz which is only 5mhz (30mbps or less).. https://goo.gl/maps/8W9Np1xNgCL2I assume that tower has been upgraded. I am not there now, so cannot test.

QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 28 2017, 10:02 AM) Lucky u... That is 1800mhz tower.... Shud b able to reach 100mbps if u find a good spot as the tower is 73m... Just managed to test the connection (seems to be band 3 10Mhz only) and I can get decent speed with it. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. When testing, I was then reminded why I didn't like DiGi (and Maxis) in this particular place; the transmit power is too low when compared to the likes of Celcom and U-Mobile. If I enter my parents' house (about 800m from the tower with line of sight), the signal will almost always decrease to H+ with one or two bars maximum, never full.
