[attachmentid=8679307] 2nd sim

All that's left is downgrade streamyx (still got contract until Oct) & change my Postpaid 1st sim to prepaid... hmm.gif

P.S: Since my 2nd sim (future 150) still have some rm52, does this mean on first month billing i only need to pay less than Rm110?
*
Yes. Credits from Digi prepaid will carry over.

Malaysian mentality, abuse whenever possible. I hope Digi follow some countries standard to reduce priority for users like this because network already congested enough.

QUOTE(tongaz86 @ Apr 3 2017, 02:34 AM)
Just apply Infinite 150. What is the max speed for the user that used it already?
*
depend on your area. if can support LtE-A even faster speed.

it doest matter when the plan is launched.
simply put, if you bill cycle is on the 16, and you activated on the 15, you'll still be charge 150. discount rm30 is just for consolation purpose.
I just finished chatting with digi staff online.
*
No. it shouldn't be that way. Got keep the chat log? report to MCMC.

Yeah...but it was a call to 100. Anyway, lesson learnt....actually I can understand it, just that it feels a bit misleading and the customer service was pretty arrogant when telling me that.
*
So far all telco are like that. free calls only to mobile and landline. calls to special numbers like 1300, 600, and all those other 3/4 digits numbers will be charge. those are called special numbers.

Same here. I tried Maxis 4G and no issues loading YouTube whatsoever. Definitely Digi setting problems on certain apps!
*
Just tested someone's I150 in Kuching. no problem with YouTube. Watching around 4 minutes video smoothly here with 1080P.

Hi all, i'm thinking to get this plan for home use (surfing, gaming and tv box) as i have no internet for home at the moment. Do all sifus here suggest me getting huawei e5186 or e5786? Is e5786 mifi better since it can be both home use and mobile?
*
If you are going to use it mostly at home, get the router instead of mifi. when travelling for short time, just use phone to tether.

QUOTE(ejump82 @ Apr 17 2017, 05:25 PM)
yes... only video uploaded into FB will consider as FB video.. other than that will consume normal data.
*
How about Digi prepaid unlimited fb? is video access through fb app also unlimited? I mean those videos from 3rd party site but access using FB app.

Those are scam. Never answer them. I got a few calls from +44 as well.

QUOTE(westlife @ Apr 22 2017, 09:39 PM)
If compare to DiGi, I will stick to Celcom instead, at least their coverage and speed are better.

besides, personally I feel that prepaid is very troublesome if one is using the plan mainly for data purpose. I had tried to use hotline prepaid to replace my postpaid for data usage before. but using prepaid, once it hits the quota limit, it will become pay per use, and if there is credit inside the account, very fast it will wipe out the credit due to the high cost of pay per use. If it is postpaid, once hit limit, at most the speed slow down dramatically only. Need to actively monitor usage for prepaid.
*
There are already prepaid which do not use the pay per use concept. those prepaid usually will have free basic internet at 64kbps, and once your subscribed data ended it will fall to basic internet.

Well if Maxis or Celcom good at your area why not? Just port out and try, if not good can always change.

Digi is a cheat!! This month I have ported 3 lines to digi prepaid. My mom,dad and gf

Using the 28 plan with 3GB,300min and unlimited facebook

Now they change to 500mb daily for facebook! wth!!

yesterday still showing unlimited!
[attachmentid=8774125]

Today check..

[attachmentid=8774126]
*
laugh.gif but 500mb still won't finish for a day using Facebook. Knowing Digi, their unlimited actually is limited to a certain amount, just they do not disclose it.
Maybe all this while it's limited to 500mb for Facebook?

About the prepaid add on of RM8/day for high speed unlimited, it is actually limited to 10GB only. So is there any similar plan that is truly unlimited? I want to upload family photos/videos from 2007 until now, which is a lot, but only one time use. So please no monthly longer term plans. Thank you.
*
It's 20gb actually. I subscribe it before and get an SMS saying it's 20gb. so I manage to download a whole bunch of around 13gb of items and it's still working good.

another forum says there is difference between DG smart and DG Best prepaid. Anyway.. is there any plans that would let me do what I wanted to do? Even if it is 20GB with the other kind of prepaid, it is still not enough.
*
Well then there is no prepaid with unlimited quota. Go to CC or use postpaid or Unifi line.

QUOTE(kevraul @ May 23 2017, 12:33 PM)
got an experience with digi prepaid to share. maybe something to take note for prepaid users:

- bought a digi prepaid sim to check for coverage (comparing with umobile)
- bought a 2gb data / week for rm9. its an auto-renew every week.
- after 7 days, the plan got renewed and credit deducted. all good.
- used the mydigi app to unsubscribe to the package. subsequently, what happened was the package of 2gb/week was also removed from my plan even though credit has been deducted. my thought was the package will remain but by unsubscribing, auto-renew will not happen in the next 7 days.

obviously, my thought was that you've already paid rm9 for the data package, it should remain until expiry.

NOT having your credit deducted and the package ALSO removed. this is stupid.

called the customer service, ticket raised. still waiting for the outcome.
*
It already clearly mention when you want to unsubscribe, that any remaining balance will be forfeited. So why do you still continue anyway?

Hi,

just an announcement to Digi InternetPlus add on subscribers, please note that Digi now split the Talktime quota to a ( 50% Digi to Digi & 50% Digi to others). So might be inconvenient for some people and maybe it's a hint to port out to other Telcos. smile.gif
*
Yeah... wtf. I saw it because my plan got renew tis morning.

Is this true? Really? It's not a wise move from digi if it's true...

To clear things up, you can only port back to whatever new plans available in Digi now. You cannot port back to any obsolete plan which doesn't exist anymore.
So yes, you can port back, but to what is available only.

i just ported over to digi from maxis and i have subscribed to a plan to get 500 minutes (split 50/50 between digi and non-digi numbers) for RM 28..then i went to add in 5 out of 6 buddyz numbers..then proceed to make a call to one of my "buddyz" for about 2 minutes...checked my itemized plan usage and saw that they deducted from my 500 minutes...is this normal or am i missing something? shouldn't they NOT deduct since it's technically free or 1000 minutes for a call to a buddyz?

Any help would be appreciated. thanks.
*
Which prepaid plan are you on? the buddies is only applicable for certain plan, and you can only add up to 3 numbers to call for free on buddies.
I think the one you added is called friends and families or whatever, which allow you discounted rate to call/sms to those 6 numbers.

Hi! Just received my SIM-card, slotted into Xiaomi Redmi 2. This results with around 10Mbit/sec in Melaka.
Could someone recommend me a proper device to use at home, no need of battery, home router-mode.
Thanks in advance!

get Huawei E5186s-22. Can even plug in landline phone to enjoy the free call.

I have a feeling that it's only enable for 4g+ capable devices, e.g. iPhone 6 and above which can support VO-LTE. Anyone with iPhone 6 and above please share your result.
