Question for the morally conscious :

There's five (5) person living happily under the same roof.

1. Should just one person get on infinite 150 and share to the other four or should each one of them get their own infinite 150 ?

2. If all five persons have valid reasons for regular heavy downloads (FOSS/streaming/what-not) and all five persons insists on having their own infinite 150 and each does 1TB worths of data every month, does that mean they're morally wrong for already adhering to existing Digi's terms of use ?

3. Isn't it morally wrong for Digi to offer unlimited quota plans if their infrastructure is unable to cope in the first place ? So, why blame the users morality first and not the provider ?

The way I see it : If Digi says they're giving out infinite plans that means they are prepared for the data bandwidth onslaught, which incidentally reminds me of MagicSIM internet burung hantu by Celcom back then in June 2015. The quota was 2TB and the whole episode only lasted 6 months.

Hi,

I am currently using tunetalk with yearly validity renewal (RM20+), but recently tunetalk has stopped their weekly data (RM2).
I am planning to change to digi.
I can see that digi has weekly data (RM4), but is there a yearly subscription for digi?

Thank you.

All port-in to digi best will become Digi Prepaid Best 2016. The Super Long Life 365 days validity for Digi prepaid best 2016 is RM108 ..... bangwall.gif

If you require something comparable to tunetalk's old rm2 100mb weekly then I suggest that you check out onexox season pass .....

If compare to DiGi, I will stick to Celcom instead, at least their coverage and speed are better.

besides, personally I feel that prepaid is very troublesome if one is using the plan mainly for data purpose. I had tried to use hotline prepaid to replace my postpaid for data usage before. but using prepaid, once it hits the quota limit, it will become pay per use, and if there is credit inside the account, very fast it will wipe out the credit due to the high cost of pay per use. If it is postpaid, once hit limit, at most the speed slow down dramatically only. Need to actively monitor usage for prepaid.

Old prepaids with pay-per-use will deduct credits. All recent prepaids from big 4 telco does not have pay-per-use nemore and fallback to 64kbps basic internet. Usually prepaid mobile internet plans comes with unlimited usage after past quota from Celcom/Umobile.

Some older postpaid users who have not upgraded are still being charge pay-per-use, some with a RM250 gprs cap limit. There are still reported cases of user accidentally turned on their mobile data for a week and get a bill shock at the end of the month.

Digi should just abandon 2G at city areas and just ride on celcom's or maxis' 2G network. Better yet, there should only be one 2G network maintained by our gov...
