QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 5 2017, 12:18 AM) For digi, only will have better 4g coverage for indoor.(3mhz for 900mhz) sorry off topic a bit:Speedwise same. As i din hear they will stack 900mhz with 1800mhz or 2600mhz or 3CA. So CA remain same. And if ppl logon to 900mhz will have max 30mbps only. Only benifit for u mobile as they will add 15mhz(1800) for LTE and 5mhz(900) for 3g 15mhz LTE can let user reach 100mbps without interband CA.... 900mhz for 3g will let more users enter um own 3g network instead of keep enter maxis 2G. FYI, um already deploy many L1800 sites at penang johor perak sabah n sarawak. Lefting klang vally n n9. So all those UM users actually enjoying 100mbps speed? I duno so i will go JB n test next week. If UM still experience slow after enable these 15mhz, then UM users really over abuse the network... how bout east coast region? are there deploying any lte site there? |

QUOTE(PenangBuyer @ Apr 5 2017, 03:15 PM) What you mean now is that i150, can't be enter into mifi to share data ? according to their T&C there is no tethering restrictions on any device.. Just that on 80 plan limit to 5 device..Because I'm doing that now and is still working. Where did the info come from ? Do you mean in the future it cant be used ? |

QUOTE(GameSky @ Apr 5 2017, 03:31 PM) infinite 80 = 5GB tethering quota yup as in the T&C:infinite 150 = no tethering quota, can more than 5 devices (5 devices is for optimal connection) QUOTE Digi Postpaid 80 Infinite does not include tethering service. If the customer needs to share Mobile Internet through tethering, the customer needs to purchase Digi’s Hotspot Pass and maximum five devices can be tethered simultaneous only. As a special launch campaign for the first ten thousand (10,000) subscriptions on Digi Postpaid 80 Infinite, Digi’s Hotspot Pass will be included at no additional charge for tethering usages up to first 5GB only. Subsequent tethering services will require subscription on Digi’s Hotspot Pass at a monthly charge. Digi reserves the right to extend this launch campaign at any material time. |

QUOTE(mycrystal88 @ Apr 5 2017, 04:58 PM) thank you. I'm not a high tech person but from experience for stability and good performance choose those enterprise-level router or mifi like from Huawei or ZTE and try to avoid those home user routers like tp-link, d-link etc.. the cost maybe higher but in the long run it is still worth it.. i not sure which 4g phone support LTE-A ? how to know digi 4G speed is support LTE-A ? as i refer this post , if speed test > 30-80mb , is confirmed is LTE-A could you still recommend me which model and brand support for lte-a , mifi , 4g modem wifi and usb dongle because in future i still need it (always travelling ) , just one time paid for lte-a modem . just my 2 cent |

QUOTE(kamikraze @ Apr 6 2017, 09:26 PM) as kae7 suggested go for Cat4 mifi.. the best is Cat6 mifi but the price is still expensive.. if budget is the limit, this should be OK.. from my experienced on buying modem ZTE is known for performance with bargain price but less stability while Huawei comes with good performance and stability but little expensive compared to ZTE.. QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 10 2017, 01:50 PM) [attachmentid=8715162] how does one check devices that support this 3CA besides lte cat6?tested at DiGi HQ outdoor. seems also 15mhz for 1800mhz as i attached to LTE1800mhz with cellid 20x and check my signature whr all tests at same location. previously was only 20mbps upload. and with better latency too (14ms) yup, if the bandwidth is more than 2600mhz, y not? CA = combination of different frequency or same frequency, which is known as LTE-A or 4G+. Good understanding. U Mobile widely expand 15mhz of 1800mhz at penang, JB, ipoh. many UM users attached to the 1800mhz as wider coverage. Hope DiGi will follow soon. Of coz if DiGi CA with its 900mhz also, although only 3mhz utilized. it can max up to 200mbps if phone supported 3CA |
