I looked at DiGi website but there's no Huawei E5786 only E5577.

Is it recommended to buy the E5786 elsewhere? Or wait for DiGi to restock and get it in a package / contract?

The correct submodel to get for DiGi is E5786s-32a is that right?

Does it really make a difference getting E5786 over E5577? I'm just curious how often you get speeds over 150mbps.

These Mifi seems difficult to source, if you can refer sellers of E5786 I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks a lot guys.

You can find in Garage Sales under Networking section or Taobao, for example.

Hi guys, I am planning to subscribe to Digi Infinite to replace my streamyx 4mbps. But is the speed stable? tried 4g speed test at my area reaching 20mbps for dl and 3mbps for ul.
*
Stable and sufficient for my usage though I already have UniFi 50M, I will terminate it when it has reached 24 months in few months time.

Yes, I have E5186 router and E5786 MiFi but both are still with my friend in China. LTE-A devices.
Currently using E5776 MiFi which is just a LTE MiFi that I bought 3 years ago.

Wao, the device itself is so good. So what u use ur digi infinite for? is there any complication or downside of using it as a home broadband? movie, streaming, download & etc?
*
For now, it's for my suka2 connection when on-the-go, soon it will be my home broadband slotted in E5186 replacing my UniFi Advance 50. Also if I'm away from home during weekend or vacation around Malaysia or at any of the 8 countries for Roam Like Home, I will bring it along in my MiFi. biggrin.gif

No issue at all in my case. I stream happily on my Android box and all my devices. However, no P2P is allowed but I'm not a fan of P2P, so not an issue at all for me. I always stream and hardly download, if I want to, I will direct download.

Anyway, there's a thread in this section for Infinite plan. biggrin.gif

Yes, my friend always uses it in China. Make sure you select the correct roaming partner, this is very important.

yeah the selected local telco only right. need to 'activate international roaming' first or can use directly by default? because never use roaming before.
*
Oops. I thought you were referring to Roam Like Home package.
For Roam Like Home, if your package doesn't come with that for free, you will need to subscribe for it first at Digi Centre.
You can check if your international roaming is activated using MyDigi app, check under Settings.

Any idea if Digi pro-rated the monthly fee whenever you changed a plan. Example from Plan 80 to Plan 50. Used plan80 for 1 week and decided to change to plan 50.

Yes.

But I didn't receive any confirmation from Digi. Tried two times and nothing, though it shows successful in Maybank app but it's not reflected in transaction list.
I guess it no longer accepts. Time to use my YOLO.

why not autodebit in order to get 5% off?
*
Auto Billing discount of 5% off total monthly bill is only applicable to the first SIX (6) months of subscription only. Total monthly bill includes monthly fees and usages, but excludes standard and itemized billing charges.

Only for first six months, why do that when I can get cash back every month?

alexleow81, an update for you. I received SMS today from Digi for the 2xRM 1 I made earlier. So they went through, this is the message:
Digi: Thank you for your payment of RM1.00 on 15/05/2017

My Maybank app shows transaction date on Saturday. Let's see.
