If you just want to use at home,
E5186 or B310/B315/B593 is enough.
Just keep your MiFi for your outdoor usage.
Huawei E5186 is not cheap, just RM500-RM530

5186s-22a is around RM480-RM530 including postage and other fees

The other version (lower spec) 5186s-61a is around RM375-RM420

You can get cheaper than RM500

Hi all, i'm thinking to get this plan for home use (surfing, gaming and tv box) as i have no internet for home at the moment. Do all sifus here suggest me getting huawei e5186 or e5786? Is e5786 mifi better since it can be both home use and mobile?

Anyone have any experience using a router like TP-LINK MR3420 combo with a USB modem ?

Any good suggestion for a good combo in terms of best price/performance standpoint ?

By getting a 4G router, you mean like a Huawei E5186? Does it work by directly inserting the Simcard?
Is there a cheaper alternative to it? Any cheap 4G compatible 4G router because at most I'll be using it for 2 months.

Also, assuming i were to get a router+usb modem combo, whats a good usb modem that is compatible with the MR3420, What price am I looking at ?

I think you should. RM50 per month is very reasonable to own a post paid line. 

Just a question. Can I open more than one principle line to others? I'm not saying I wanted to sup but open more than one principle line with maybe different accounts but same main user name?

For my family, celcom already told us about the 1 full month charge when we signed up for their plans. So , we were informed beforehand.

To be safe, don't MNP too close to their billing cycle date.  MNP process can be delayed due to many factors, so give yourself some time allowance of 1-2 weeks before billing cycle date.
