Why you want people to recommend you a good mifi? You already stated that you dont like the to charge all the time and etc etc  ....

If you just want to use at home,
E5186 or B310/B315/B593 is enough.
Just keep your MiFi for your outdoor usage.
Huawei E5186 is not cheap, just RM500-RM530
*
Where can I get for RM 500-530 in Malaysia?

QUOTE(eeeglow24 @ Apr 16 2017, 03:29 PM)
hi, thanks. I'm not really using it 24h but I have 1 more question, if I buy one if the mifi you suggested, does it support digi 4g+ since my area has 4g+ now and I don't want to be stuck at only 4g connection.

Thanks.
*
If it has 4G+ in your area and the tower is active then you can get 4G+. Nobody can guarantee this part...

*
Just get E5186. biggrin.gif Or like me, I bought both models. tongue.gif

OK, today received my SIM from GDex fellow. laugh.gif

QUOTE(PenangBuyer @ Apr 17 2017, 08:55 PM)
Anyone have any experience using a router like TP-LINK MR3420 combo with a USB modem ?

Any good suggestion for a good combo in terms of best price/performance standpoint ?
*
Used this combo for years until April 2014 when I switched to UniFi.
During that time, it was stable and one of the best investments I made, cheap and reliable.

These days you can easily get a 4G router, it saves your trouble of getting another USB modem. I'm also not sure if the router still receives updates for newer USB modems' compatibility.

I'm looking for the best bang for my buck as I won't be using them for long,
By getting a 4G router, you mean like a Huawei E5186? Does it work by directly inserting the Simcard?
Is there a cheaper alternative to it? Any cheap 4G compatible 4G router because at most I'll be using it for 2 months.

Also, assuming i were to get a router+usb modem combo, whats a good usb modem that is compatible with the MR3420, What price am I looking at ?
Any help from anyone is appreciated  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
Yes, E5186 is direct plugged in for SIM card.

Actually if so short time, just hotspot from your smartphone... Not worth to spend so much on it. I used to use Huawei E398 with my MR3420.

I think you should. RM50 per month is very reasonable to own a post paid line.  thumbsup.gif

Just a question. Can I open more than one principle line to others? I'm not saying I wanted to sup but open more than one principle line with maybe different accounts but same main user name?  hmm.gif
*
Yes, you can register more than one principle line but under your name. I have two postpaid no. and one prepaid no. registered under me in Digi and this doesn't include other telcos yet.

Anyway, please multi-quote in the future. smile.gif

I think we will need a separate thread in Broadband section for Digi Infinite 150.

Thanks for pointing it out. Then just post in that thread for any discussion regarding Infinite plans since most of us use it as broadband plans.

you have to refer to your contract.

For my family, celcom already told us about the 1 full month charge when we signed up for their plans. So , we were informed beforehand.

To be safe, don't MNP too close to their billing cycle date.  MNP process can be delayed due to many factors, so give yourself some time allowance of 1-2 weeks before billing cycle date.
*
This is crazy. I have not heard other telcos do the same too.

The thing is I receive a lot of international calls due to work related... Can't simply block no. but good thing is if it calls my Digi no., I will ignore; if the callers make calls to my corporate Celcom line then I won't bother. tongue.gif
