with the unmistakable single button trackpad, a slot-type optical drive, boring matte white plastic, it's a sure sign of an iBook

Why would they (HP) have that in their new notebook ad?????? Funny isnt it?

And the worst thing is, they have their tagline over it rclxms.gif

Time for them to screw their advertising agency for leaving out such details.

Added on March 9, 2007, 11:46 pmmost likely the graphic designer bought these type of Business theme images from one of those ImageBank and didnt realise the mac book there.

i would say that is not a MacBook because there are 2 screws along with the slot drive on the MacBook but in the picture there is no screw at all smile.gif

They can cover it up/edit it to make it cleaner and simple. I think it's an iBook, even other computer manufacturers use Apple products in their ads because it's simple, neat and incredibly beautiful and nice in any environment.

I have seen Vista ads include a macbook near to it in some other forum. The pic is quite the same as this, just slight appearance of the macbook and some lines 'Get your Vista here today etc etc'.

Subliminal ads? Or what they trying to show is that Vista can run on Macs? Seen it on another Vista ad.

definitely not MacBook, but the older iBook (G3 or G4)

hence the thick silouhette, boring grey and white tone, lots of screws visible and stuff

still one of the best designed laptops, IMHO
