gapnap, thx for info. Actually we're choosing sg.long punya halo cafe, they told us to ask their person in charge at South city plaza. Salary isn't the problem, just we're going to take some exp. The biggest hing is we're not rock bands or else, just musicians, maybe try to play some pop songs by instrument... wonder they r interested???

QUOTE(gapnap @ Mar 11 2007, 01:26 AM) ha.ha...anyway i can write an essay about how you are spoiling the musician market by playing for free or getting peanuts pay and "just for the experience" ..nvm that.. Sure why not, but I think u didn;t get one thing that I'm not a singer or neither guitar player, we're just some better band players at school and tries to get some exp.. well but peanuts pays... er... I think if less ppl better... haha... I go there be4 but very ppl.. If change to starbuck better.. haha.. I got it's manager phone number, thinking neither wants to call him and have some talk a not... becoz we dun even prepared any songs!!! About customer request.. how do you do that? We can't prepare all songs in this world rite...Experience on the stage , you will have it . but popularity , you won't . I am staying there pal , i can say that nobody goes there..its so damn overpriced for Bandar Sungai Long.like RM8 for a glass of coke or something like that so abit potong-steam lar playing alone with the waiters.. anyway , would love to meet up with you if you are performing , we can have a drink . just PM me if you start and about whether will they be interested. As long as you don't sing off pitch , able to handle requested songs by the customers and there is a vacancy . shouldn't be a problem . you don't need to be a celebrity to get the job |

QUOTE(gapnap @ Mar 13 2007, 06:42 PM) hi again . i think one of the hardest challenge for a band is to stay together as a band for years . Thx a lot, I had sooo much perform at school... haha... Surely no fans over my school, they dun like music bands, they just like idols.. hah... Nvm la, I'll try my best. LOL going to Hola for a month will make my pocket a hole!! haha.. But I'll go there sometimes.since you are still in a high school, my advice is not to start at Hai Lo . Try performing at high school shows ALOT.. get a large fan base . you will realized that your fans plays an important row in keeping you all together example , look at Media puppets . They were married to guns since form 3 ?til now to answer your question , i suggest going to other Hai Lo for a month maybe.Observe the trend , see what songs customer always request . you should be able to figure how from there then . Cheers |
