Fast moving thread. Waiting for my S8. Place pre-order on 30.03.2017. they said i will get the S8, 8 days early. Not really sure what does it mean. it will posted starting 19th april. counting days.. will update u guys.. hope its worth.. it is expensive.

It was £689.. current exchange rate £1:RM5.5 the price will be approximate RM3,789

ya it super expensive.. but here in the uk samsung offer samsung upgrade programme.. can get new phone every year. You only have to pay les than £30 a month. I work here so dont have much choice but they give me a very good deal so just grab it.

Malaysia always offer cheaper than other country (if you do a conversion), here we have 20% VAT..

ya it is. but if you happen to be in the UK for vacation it might be good if you buy the phone from uk. you can get back the VAT +/- so it might be cheaper after VAT deduction.

it is not that really long i manage to play with s8+ during my visit at vodafone, westfield.. the height is just like the iphone 7 plus, but it really comfortable at my hand. i thought i'm holding the galaxy s8 until the lady told me the set is actually s8+.

But still prefer the S8..

It might be.. but because of the slim profile you wouldn't feel the phone big.. it just only a bit long.

Not bad it is still cheaper compare to the other country especially here in UK and Europe. It is still consider good deal. In UK there is no freebiz.. (Samsung UK) but if you order from carphone warehouse you will get samsung speaker for free. hope samsung UK give me surprise when they sent out the box on 21 April.

Apart from Samsung, there are other pre-order promotions coming from Celcom, Digi, Maxis, U Mobile and Yes. Also participating are e-commerce and on-ground retailers such as Lazada, 11street, Courts Mammoth, Harvey Norman and Senheng.

I open up all the web page and end up the promotion is standard. I think the additional promotion will be start when the S8 officially available at 5 May.
