nowadays telco contract, you terminate right after sign up is like paying phone RRP
if phone RRP is 3699, sign up plan device become 2500, you save 1199, if you terminate right after sign up, you fork out 1199

if you use one month terminate, you fork out 1199 * (23/24)

still depends on your pay device advance payment or not but some telco offer no advance payment for their "n years" customer

for example u take telco plan RM80, they sell you device RM2500 (RRP is RM3699), you save RM1199 right?
but you sign up for two years contract...
you terminate right after sign up, you need pay RM1199 + RM2500 you pay earlier, equivalent to RM3699

but you already pay one month plan RM80, some telco will waive advance payment for device for existing customer

your device RRP is 3699, but u bought it at RM2500, save RM1199, 24 months contract, LET SAY you terminate after 12 months... left 12 months contract, how much PENALTY you need to pay? nowadays very straightforward, is (1199 / 24) * 12, so you pay RM599.5 as penalty... because you discontinue the 12 months contract... but you use 12 months with contract

this make up every month you continue with the contract, your phone cheaper by ~RM50

so you dont lose much right? whatever penalty you pay WILL NOT exceed the phone/device RRP lol
Maxis and Digi i am sure works this way, Celcom i not too sure...

telco want business mah... now sign up plan worth IF you already using a plan that equivalent to the plan you sign up

if you use RM50 monthly now, and go sign up RM100 plan just to get phone, then may not be so worth lol, u save some money on phone, but you pay RM50 additional every month for that plan

less scalpers i believe if no discount
which is good for serious buyer

the free SP from note 7 last year collect dust all around the edge very cheap SP i wanted to say...
looks cheap, feel cheap....

my experience for N7 pre order is i have pre order for my friend and he go collect the N7 at Samsung center and pay the balance, they actually issue an invoice under his name

the accessories not really worth that much even though you resell
just the extra warranty worth BUT thats not what scalpers want haha
