QUOTE(xcxa23 @ Mar 31 2017, 10:01 AM) I'm very curious if s8 can tahan with moderate usage. Looking forward with reviews.. Hopefully by end of the day ie 5pm still got 40++% Those screen looks gorgeous yo.. I remember saw someone said the iris scanner works well with spec. That's gd. Nice hows exynos unit power consumption compare to SD unit in the past? is it better or worse? sometimes the exynos unit is faster in processing power but compromise on the power consumption....

QUOTE(scottyvstheworld @ Apr 4 2017, 03:07 PM) They sure rugi a lot last year with the note problem. Only way to redeem the lost is make this s8 below 3k or just same price with the current s7e. If near 4K the bye bye. but u cant take out the fact that the MYR depreciate to 4.45 now... lol.... the best scenario is they sell at same price as last year.... should be below 3.5k for the non plus unit.... of course the SEA market is still very big market for them....

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Apr 4 2017, 07:34 PM) Ya, I am awared of it. But still, deep down in my heart I still hope Samsung will be generous to the Malaysia market... Anyway, I guess this is the biggest jump ever in history? S7 (2699) - S8 (3299) s7 Edge (3099) - S8+ (3599) RM600 & RM500 differences respectively. but frankly speaking... how big is Malaysia market really to them.... easily Thailand, Indon and Vietnam have more potential buyers than us... hahaha....

QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Apr 5 2017, 12:04 AM) Kirin 960 is just a bit faster than Oxynos 8890 but much more expensive (P10 plus vs S7E). Although Huawei P10 is a decent phone, I still think it's too expensive. Should not be 2499. but kirin 960 already in mate 9 which already selling the same or even lower price than S7E.... so i think the problem here is that p10 didn't go for newer processor... or they have too early launch their new processor before year 2017..... all the difference seems eliminated after they launched the mate 9

QUOTE(PhakFuhZai @ Apr 5 2017, 11:24 AM) rm3199 sounds reasonable so comparing to Sony camp, rumors are that XZ Premium will priced at rm3399-3499, which aims at S8+, they have a junior flagship which is XZs RRP priced at rm2899, but using 2016's SoC Snapdragon 820 Xperia XZP/XZs unique selling point is just the slow-mo camera now S8/S8+ needs to prove that it can achieve better in imaging department despite lower MP Xperia has never been a competitor to S series... haha.... although Sony have everything in their own factory.... screen manufacturer, laptop manufacturer, camera manufacturer... but in the end they just dont know how to combine their strong point together and penetrate the market share.... and as usual... they are now neither here or there in the smartphone market... still dare to sell at premium price like samsung despite the spec actually quite limited....

QUOTE(Radec @ Apr 5 2017, 11:41 AM) They already sold their laptop division years ago though. XZ Premium have flagship specs, but the design is getting old now and doesn't go near the S8 in that regard. That 960fps video though.. yeah... the point is they have the capabilities... just that... they dont know how to make it into a good phone... haha.... luckily they selling parts by parts to other manufacturers is doing good... their camera sensors is quite commonly used by other brands smartphones.... haha

QUOTE(Caramelcloud9 @ Apr 7 2017, 12:46 AM) The price is soooo not within budget. If this the price maybe shud wait for note 8. Oh myyyy...another waiting time. Sighhh What was s7 starting price when they launch? Is it the same? note 8 will more expensive by the time they release maybe... lol.... what is your budget for a phone anyway? haha

QUOTE(dlsl @ Apr 7 2017, 10:10 AM) Totally agree. Current promotion is not attractive at all plus the price is significant higher than previous model. I will for pixel 2 or note 8. MYR have drop at least 20% since the previous model launched wor bro.... note 8 price wont be anyway better given that MYR will be weaker soon....

QUOTE(Caramelcloud9 @ Apr 7 2017, 11:18 AM) I tought its only around 3099 or 3199. But then i hv to topup another 200.. if looking at MYR drop rate... 3299 seems quite reasonable also... 3199 of course better... but if its a very good fon you like... 100-200 should not stop u from getting it.... haha

i do think that bashing in forum are kinda pointless... what phone that others are using wouldn't concern your life in any matter anyway.... im using huawei and i am damn happy with the price and functions... they using s8... they are damn happy about their phones as well... isnt this the primary concern? happiness in using their gadgets that they afforded to buy.... some even happy with their redmi note 4 also... why bother condemn others for their choice....

QUOTE(kevyeoh @ Apr 11 2017, 11:47 AM) hi all...anyone tried digi pre order? if choose EPP means i have to pay RM4640 upfront now for the RM78 plan? or actually i need to pay monthly the instalment? a bit confuse on this here... during the payment there... do they have additional option let you choose how many month u wanna make it into installment? the upfront payment will be fully charged to your credit card... and make it into 24 months repayment... the whole rm4640... is your device price + 24 months worth of digi monthly plan payment... or if u want a simpler installment payment... better visit their store and make EPP payment from there....

Can I go to the Digi stores to do the pre-order as I want to collect the phone on 4.5.2017? I will flying off overseas on 5.5.2017 and be back 1 month later.. pre-order must be done online... through counter can only be done for purchasing during the day of launched... when my fren wanna pre-order for p10 through counter... the digi stores rejected her request... ask her to go online or purchase when its officially launched...

QUOTE(xcxa23 @ Apr 11 2017, 01:53 PM) +1 Flagship does not ND any thinner without compromising battery capacity. The p2 is slim enough given its 5.1k 🔋 If given 4k, damn can enjoy d screen full power with enough juice by the end of the day generally now.... my phone 4000 MAH... can last until i sleep with messaging, social media-ing, occasional gaming during free time.... should be consider enough for a smartphone user already.... wont expect to use more than one day with constant usage anyway...
