If you have decided to fork out RM3.xk for the phone, might as well get the S8+. The difference between the two models is worth the money.

Just a couples of extra days of bread instead of McD for lunch (and/or dinner ).

5.8" seems pretty good. Gotta hands on then only know worth or not though

For me, its not really worth it unless u really really into big sized hp.

S8 already 5.8" and everything else is the same except slightly smaller battery size.

For note user, S8+ will be more suitable. S8 feels so small on the hand.
But to think of buying a handphone for RM3.7k...my right brain still fight with left brain now.
Will go to play with demo set for few days, still got time to make up my mind.

S8+ is just a little bigger to S7E in terms of physical size. Don't get fooled by the screen size as now it covered more STB%.

IMHO For the same resolution, the extra 16% battery really help in extending the SOT of the phone, for a 12% cost increase.

i think samsung malaysia set the pre-order deposit too low already !!!
only RM300 deposit will caused alot re-sellers come in to fight for the stock & freebies!
especially those small handphone shop owners.. they can get their staffs login at 10am buy 20 or 30 units, because the total deposit just RM6k.
their purpose is not be a genuine S8 owner, they just want to take this opportunity to earn profit..
end end the real S8 owners out there need to pay extra money to get it..

samsumg malaysia should set the deposit amount to at least RM2000
because as a genuine S8 owner, we dont really care pay 2000 first or pay later,
because at the end u still need to pay..
i can foresee that 11Apr morning alot genuine buyer can't get their S8 or can't get their preferred color..

Doubt this will happened, we not getting discount like previous where they could still earn $$ after selling with same retail price later. Also we only get 1 day 'exclusive' before retail sales so no point for that.

I originally thought 5.8 inch will be big enough, but the real set really blow my mind. Smaller and slimmer than I thought, but longer. Feel weird the 1st time using it...

they can re-sell the phone at same price with official samsung retailer,
and ppl still will buy it because that unit come with 2 years warranty & 1 year free screen repair.
then they can sell the Samsung casing, power bank, wireless charger, cable seperately, these can earn they at least RM200 d..

if buy on 5Apr at samsung retailer, the S8 is 1 year standard warranty only,
if screen crack have to pay at least 1.3k to repair..

Totally agree. Current promotion is not attractive at all plus the price is significant higher than previous model.

I will for pixel 2 or note 8.

too tiny..feeling like holding the old ifon 5.... haha...
then the s8+ only feel the correct size ...
