Whatever freebies they gave, nothing can beat out cash price discount. I will skip the pre-order since I don't need those freebies at all. Will wait until Note 8 release at year end and see its price tag then only decide whether should switch to S8 or Note 8. Perhaps by that time S8 price will drop a bit.

I will choose fingerprint scanner over 2 camera any day. Just need 1 good camera is enough. I never use the 2X camera in my 7 Plus tbh.

samsung knows alot of samsung fanboys will go after every single samsung flagship phones.  they mark up the price to gain more profit.

go and survey all samsung phone users.  you will be surprised that they dont even use those features.  or even they dont even know what extra features samsung has, LOL. 

im not saying samsung is bad or what. 

im just saying the price for samsung flagship is just marketing gimmick.    of so many samsung phone users around the world.  how many user do actually use their functions or features. 

yes their price point correspond to those extra functions and features no other phone makers has.  however, do we really need all these in a flagship phone? 

for me  i will get the best phone that suits me best.  and will not waste extra cash for that extra features that i wont be using. 

my point is, alot of samsung phone users are just like apple fans.  they follow what people use and just buy the phone instead of actually considering the purpose of the phone.

Wow. That's too low. I thought that S7 edge should have better trade in value since it's only one year old flagship.  I went to Samsung store at Plaza Lowyat last 2 weeks, asking about my Note 5 trade in value. And they offered me RM 1000, which is not bad at all, considering it's a almost 2 years old flagship.
IINM, you also had the same dream last year when Note 7 was released.

Comparably though, the overall body dimensions are smaller than S7Edge though. However the screen dimensions are bigger. Also interesting to note that it has a thicker body, but way smaller battery   

Even smaller the s8 can last nearly 6 hours while s8+ can last 7 hours+ so that fella is clearly trolling only
