QUOTE(vga_cable @ Nov 22 2017, 10:19 AM) It all start from a reddit user asked during ama session why need grind 40 hours just to unlock one hallmark character, and then chaos ensue its the answer that came afterwards unleash the hell. kinda a noob answer.....like AM buy meka..... I think Belgium need to divide 2 kind of loot crates - Cosmetic and Game Advantages (P2W). else, no more games will have loot crates for EU region. tbh, alot of games is gambling by nature if goes by Belgium definition - especially those mobile games This post has been edited by sai86: Nov 22 2017, 12:03 PM |

QUOTE(lthock @ Nov 26 2017, 09:19 PM) I have no issues playing via mobile tethering - Digi. Game play is okay without any delay. However, the loading time is so freaking longgggg and i had it installed in my SSD. In the end, i switched back to my normal HDD because it didn't speedup the loading time. But just to note, the game is not really new-player-friendly. Although they removed the micro-transaction in-game but the pay-to-win element is still there. For example, Origin is selling 2 editions of BF2, standard and Elite Trooper Deluxe. And i own the Deluxe Edition. It literally unlocks a second tier weapon and a legendary star cards for all 4 classes plus some random stuff. So, if i were to put against an equally skilled player with a standard edition, i would've easily beaten him because of my competitive edge (I paid more LOL). Why is it so hard to find games? Multiplayer never seems to pop also. Always the 18 players needed.

good work everyone, keep it up! the war continues on multiple fronts!
QUOTE Sales of Star Wars Battlefront 2 fell short of Electronic Arts’ expectations, and the publisher is citing the furor over the game’s microtransactions as the primary explanation, reports the Wall Street Journal. EA sold about 9 million copies of Battlefront 2 during the three-month period from October-December 2017, the third quarter of EA’s 2018 fiscal year. (The game launched almost exactly halfway through the quarter, on Nov. 17, 2017.) That was about 1 million fewer than the 10 million copies that EA had expected to sell. Blake Jorgensen, the company’s chief financial officer, told the Wall Street Journal that the publisher’s guidance calls for sales of another 1 million to 3 million copies by the fiscal year’s conclusion at the end of March. The higher end of that estimate would still put Battlefront 2 behind its predecessor — EA shipped more than 14 million units of the original Star Wars Battlefront in its 2016 fiscal year. Revenue from Battlefront 2 to this point is also much lower than EA had wanted, since the company removed microtransactions from the game just before launch after they ignited a controversy among early players. It is not currently possible to buy “crystals,” the in-game currency, or loot crates. EA said at launch that it would reinstate the microtransactions eventually. Jorgensen told the Wall Street Journal that in-game purchases will return “in the next few months,” although he said the publisher’s fourth-quarter guidance does not take them into account. The Wall Street Journal also notes that Jorgensen “blames the controversy in large part” for Battlefront 2’s sales shortfall. https://www.polygon.com/2018/1/30/16952396/...boxes-returning |
