 Ipod Nano, need help on volume

i got problem with the ipod nano volume settings. each time i try to put it higher volume, it goes back to lower volume. the settings seems to be run w/o me doing anything to it. even putting on the password to control the volume doesn't work. it will suddenly go back to lower volume. does anyone know wat prob is tis? issit bcoz of bug?

I think you better restore to default first BUT make sure you backup your songs and data first. Most of the problem will be fixed when it's back to factory setting.

i did restore but its still the same. could it be caused by any bug? do you tik i should sent back to a dealer to repair?

click wheel is working fine. does ur ipod 'hang' suddenly?
