above video is about the developer talking about the remastered version.
currently what we know the feature are listed below :-

1. patch 1.18 allow player download full version sc and scbw for free (set to release 31st march, US time will be 30th march)

2. coming summer (possible june to august) when blizzard release remastered version, players are able to upgrade the game by paying it.

3. players are able to play online, watch replay with or without remastered version.

4. will support modern OS (window 7 and above)

5. vanila battlenet ID for SC/SCBW will bind together with current battlenet ID

6. 1 button to switch remastered version or original version when inside the game/replay.

UPDATE 1 : release date set to be 14th August 2017
UPDATE 2 : Price 14.99 USD >> purchase from these link StarCraft Remastered
UPDATE 3 : if i recall the video correctly, the button switching remastered graphic or older version is F5 button

yup, last week already purhase.
its abit sad that they did not reduce abit the price since i already got coop commander Stukov.

I was playing the classic version while waiting for the Remastered one to download.
Now it's 6:30am and I'm too tired to play full game of the Remastered version.

SCRM is much more taxing than SC2 gosh the controls so much more micro only 12 units compared to unlimited QQ

that guy was a diamond on SC2 i remembered when there was no GM and Masters so go figure.

I only made it to 1v1 Platinum in SC2 (but I was Diamond in 3v3). The highlight of my SC2 career is taking a game off a Masters player in the FXO Open (held in Bandar Utama) back in 2012 during WoL. He subsequently demolished the next 2 games LOL.

I don't have the time to play SC2 ladder, but if I kept at it, I might have hit mid-Diamond.

I feel that I'm better in SC1 because of the skill cap, and because I've been playing this game since its release in 1998. I used to do ICCUP a decade ago and on lucky days I could beat B+/A- players.

Oh, btw, I will be traveling back to my home country on Sunday and will be there until the 27th. I could still play on most evenings and hopefully my internet there will hold. I could also have my brother play a few games with you.

Just completed all the campaign missions. These were the most difficult missions for me:

1. "Omega". The final mission in Brood War. Took me several hours and reloading to beat it.

2. "To Slay The Beast". About as hard as Omega. You have to expand and conquer the island you're on early, otherwise you'll lose a war of attrition.

3. "Homeland". 7th mission of original Protoss campaign. Unless you're doing a speedrun and cheesing it via sending the Dark Templar immediately to the enemy base, it's hard to beat legitimately.

4. "The Hammer Falls". Final Terran mission of original game. I've beaten this level twice, and both times I had to use the same strategy of spamming ghost/nukes.

5. "Drawing_of_the_Web". The level artifically handicaps you preventing you from building any air units or overload transportation.

For Omega I see you took out Red Mengsk's base first. I went for the UED first instead, because they had bad ground defense. Also saw that you used lots of hydras, I went Queen/Guardians after taking out the UED. I also saw you used Dark Swarm. I didn't even research it. It's interesting to see the different approaches used by players to tackle Omega.

What video software did you use to record?

i take out Mengsk 1st is due to i dun want entertain his nuke harras. as for the UED. i admit i used the wrong method to go in. Dark swarm? i usually also dun research this, my normal style last time us guardian/devourer to finish the game.

Oh I don't record StarCraft. I just record Team Fortress 2 and Source Engine game videos.

Source Engine games (like TF2, CS:GO, L4D) have a recording feature that saves it in a Valve-specific demo format (.dem). I just replay it using the game and re-record the parts I want into mp4 using Bandicam.

You can see some of the videos I've uploaded to My Steam profile "Videos" (but no StarCraft).

Do not forget that if you want you can install from launcher just usual Starcraft 2 for free but with some real improvements over that past 20 years. It's not remastered one, but it's really something with no cost. I am re-playing whole campaign now with strange feelings;)

you mean sc2? WOL campiagn is free, if you owned WOL then blizzard give you HOTS free.
also, SC2 now consider free to play. full access to Ladder and custom games. just not full campaign
