I'm not sure if anyone asked this before but do you guys went outside at night in a dark place to take picture? I mean like milky way where you need to get away from light pollution? Don't you guys get scared or feeling spooky being in the dark alone? I mean if you guys shoot alone please give me some tips? I have no friends who shares my hobby and I'm way too scared to go shooting in the dark alone. Help please, many thankss Good day

normally we go in group ...
there are a milkyway group in lyn ..
you may join them and go together (ya .. knowledge sharing this and that .. meet new friend too ! )

I got join LYN Milky Way group in Wechat. They got a trip soon but I can't drive that far And I just found a good place in my hometown, problem is too scary for me to go alone

for safety .. better go in 2 or 3 ... (maybe ask some friend to accompany you .. not necessary must be photographer)
or just wait for next session ...
or .... you recommend them your good place

if u sponsor some food & drinks, you should have some willing to tag alone I believe

Lol my friend 'choi ngo dou sor' My 'good place' very dangerous at night lo.. paddy field inside Sungai Manik, Teluk Intan. Road very narrow It's dark but I'm not sure can see or shoot milky way or not, went there with a friend few night back but go home before 12am.. Then last night woke up at 3am, think want to go but scared hahaha

Then no choice other than bribing my friends

paddy field ... sometime danger not because people rob ..
is those "pokemon" hiding inside the paddy field ..

I have the same problem as you. I try to convince my bf go camping with me. Still sounds dangerous for the two of us and we don't have any friends who share the same interest.

where's your location? let's go. thought of trying Cameron highlands this or next weekend.

Me from Teluk Intan It's a problem for me if need to drive too far away Just started driving like few months ago

Robbers And I'm very scared of dogs too especially wild dogs Then means no shooting alone at night lo

Not too sure about kl or any Ulu Ulu places condition, please keep ur camera and hold it tight.

Just around Teluk Intan area, dark quiet area

Teluk Intan is a nice place.
Can go seaside or taken keropop ikan lol

Invest in a sturdy and strong tripod
Can be used for good night photography and used as weapon of self defense
