I B40 stay cyber. No problem. Traveling alone cost 1500.

So you earn below 4850 and spend about 1/3 years of your salary on travel and accommodation. Why?

Cos I bought 2 unit at cyber.

But on serious note, I think very strategic for those working at puchong/Bangi who don't like busy city. Not for everyone, but I enjoy the peace. Getting busier tho, I really disagree with all the Mct project next to eco glades. Buat jem. Gonna be a fail project like Mutiara haha
*
Yup, I moved from Old Klang Road and a lot of people say I crazy to move so far but if you stay at Old Klang Road before, the peace and quiet of Cyberjaya is really something I treasure a lot.

cyber is noisy now.

it has become into a malay kampung.

crime news almost every month.

traffic lights every 500 meters.

parking is expensive and non existent, but cyclists and scooters are told to get off the road instead.

Malay kampung? Crime news every month?

To achieve peace & quiet, you should be more specific than just a township in general. It also depends on your work & residential location, how you commute everyday, how is the daily traffic on your route, what is the view of your condo...how far are you from the nearest commercial centre, parks, activity centre. If you are resourceful, you can achieve peace & quiet smack in the middle of KL...without need to travel far everyday for work & just for getting things. That is a peace...of mind.
*
You do know that Cyberjaya has parks, commercial centers and malls all within the neighborhood. As for views, my condo has an unblocked view of nice surrounding with trees. For me, travelling to work is not a problem at all. I take ERL and can reach office/home less than an hour everyday. Previously, when I stay at Old Klang Road, the time needed was also more or less the same except the distance is nearer. On top of that, I hardly need to drive. Food is plentiful and you want non-halal food, just drive between 15 to 30 minutes and you will reach Puchong, Seri Kembangan or Dengkil to get good non-halal food.

I bet you have not been to Cyberjaya for many years.

15 to 30 minutes drive could be 15 to 30 km distance.

It could be a short distance too in Klang Valley with all the jams

I drove 20-30 minutes everyday from Sri Permaisuri - Bangi to work & back home. 30 minutes driving ain't the healthy timing just to get daily lunch or dinner. KL new condos now mostly just walking distance to choices of convenience & transit. And for daily food, the keyword is choices, you need lots of it, cheap or pricey, fast, near to you. New & low dense township won't able to provide that.
*
Cyberjaya also has plenty of shops and convenience. You have the largest shopping mall is Malaysia just a 15 minute drive away. If you lazy and want to stay in KL, you got D’Pulze that even have cinema.

Your distance from Bandar Sri Permaisuri to Bangi is not that much different from Cyberjaya to Bangsar. It is just nearer by about 5km only. The difference is you are going against traffic and not in jams while going to Bangsar, you can’t avoid jams on weekdays but if it’s weekends, I also can reach KLCC within 30 mins.

Cyberjaya is still new and low dense township? LOL!

According to google map; from okr to klcc is about 7km and could take 12 minutes.
*
OKR is a long road. If you start from places like Petaling Utama, it’s 17 km. Why are you even arguing about distance?

The fact is it’s not inconvenient to go to IOI city mall from Cyberjaya. All you need is 15 minutes drive and it’s not jammed like in KL where the distance might be closer but the time needed is not.

Likewise, the other end of cbj is a few km further from ioi city mall. During off peak, from okr could reach mid valley mega mall and many non halal eatery in less than 15 minutes.
*
During off peak? Have you stayed in OKR before? Its off peak is only Sunday early morning or after midnight.

The point is Cyberjaya is not that far and it’s a very livable township as everything is reachable just like a lot of other areas in Klang Valley

If travel time is critical, should live near your place of work rather than 30km away.

Then a lot of people in Klang Valley don’t treat time as critical!

I use okr a few times in a week, from mid valley to oug take about 10 minutes before 5pm weekdays.

Where in kv is not liveable? Near or far is measured by distance.
*
Before 5 pm is non-peak hours and I doubt you can reach oug within 10 mins as okr has lots of traffic lights. The fastest you can reach oug from midvalley is probably 20 mins. I live in okr for nearly 20 years. If you take non-peak hours as measurement, then I can also say I can reach Bangsar within 30 mins too.

It is no wonder most if not all of those obsessed with cbj are under water.
*
Those who choose CBJ to be their home are quite satisfied with the place they stay. It is not as far as most people believe it to be as it’s well connected to a few major highways. It’s in fact a self sustaining township as most people in Cyberjaya know after they went through lockdown.

You just proof my point. Cyberjaya is like any other township in Malaysia and it’s not as bad as what you always say. It’s a perfectly liveable town.

Which suburbs or township is not liveable? I don't dislike or hate cbj, just against those obsessed with cbj said other places is not liveable.
Most dwellers like their suburbs or township. It seems cbj BBB/uuu is at denial stage, not yet hate it.
*
You say you don’t hate but every single post by you on this thread since the beginning is always blasting Cyberjaya as if it’s some sort of ulu unliveable place 😆

What I stated about cbj is nothing but facts e.g over 20 high rise under construction at one period of time, distances. Cbj scammers fish for new buyer certainly unhappy.
It reflects your upbringing, culture and social group.
*
What facts? 20 high rises under construction means what? It’s now slowly being filled up and cyberjaya population is increasing. I have already pointed out distances is not an issue with the well connected highways. Easy to reach KL, PJ, Puchong, etc. CBJ scammers? If got scammers, then you report police. Buying props is willing buyer willing seller. If you don’t make research when buying, then it’s not the seller problem. You so busybody with other people decisions for what?

List down if you could.

Do I even need to list? You know what you write yourself.

What people are pointing out is your hatred for Cyberjaya is astounding and you make it like your personal crusade to demonise Cyberjaya.

Nobody saying Cyberjaya is perfect and everyone should live there. What people are pointing out is it’s really not a bad place and people should consider it. Of course, if you want to buy a property there, you need to do your own homework just like buying everywhere else.

Seriously, why you hate Cyberjaya so much?

scammers still promote cbj.
Basically, you couldn't show the list.

Like glove stock during pandemic, i have no vested interest or feeling on cbj, so can't and don't hate cbj. like glove stock, i just tried to save people from losing money.
*
Like I say before, who appoints you to be their guardian angel?

People want to invest or buy for own stay, they can do their own research and make their own mind.

If you got no vested interest, there’s only 1 word to describe you! KEPOCHI 😆

Are you doing a good deed or you really just someone who has a vendetta against cyberjaya.

So, how much you lost investing in cyberjaya? Must be huge amount only can have such hatred!

As said many times, I don't have vested interest in or feeling for cbj, I don't and couldn't hate cbj. I am only against scammers.
*
But you lump anyone who say anything good about Cyberjaya as scammers because you view cyberjaya as some sort of substandard place to live. If you got no vested interest, why you only talk about Cyberjaya all the time and say scammers. Why not say other places like Semenyih or even misuse of the name Damansara. There’s no scammers here. People sell properties will of course say good things about the place. Nobody will say the place they are selling is bad. It’s the same as anywhere else and not specifically Cyberjaya only. Buyers have to do their own research. Nobody put a gun on your head to buy property. Willing buyer willing seller. You get burned, it’s your own fault.

You keep saying you got no vested interest but your replies in this thread show otherwise.
