Data center employ very few people, mostly for maintenance, add little value or employment to local economy.

By your own admission, cbj has failed as silicone valley.

So u want to create low end jobs for the Indo or Banglo , so Malaysia has to depend on them forever.

1) Data Centres pay extremely good pay , that is what our people want , as Malaysia is stuck in " middle income" economy for century .

2) Data Centres would have to be constructed , creating a boom for many industries like Construction co and so on. Simple economics theory would tell u that lah. Power or solar energy , sales of lands etc make our economy to rotate faster.

3) Data Centres will help our GDP to grow at 9% a year for next 5 years ..perhaps the highest in Asia. If GDP grows well, income levels would grow up too. Data Centres would grow 5x to 10 x in 5 years ..

4) Data Centres will make Malaysia Great once again like in the 90.....

What more u want or Apa u mahu lagi ????

Data center pay may be good but certainly is not extremely good pay.

Most if not all data center equipment are imported and connected by foreign engineers.

besides paying for wages, utilities e.g electricity and water, assessment, data center pay hardly anything else and doesn't contribute any tangible numbers to export or gdp.

Be realistic, mys gdp couldn't and wouldn't not growth at 9% p.a or near it. inflation rate of 9% p.a is more likely.

Mex highway everyday jam like shit means many people are staying at cyberjaya ad..

Ya , whether GDP will grow 9% in future is yet to be seen ..it is the future per se.

If u stay so negative for 10 years , and wait for another 10 years ..u might not see the opportunities ahead of u.

I am not negative but realistic as proven. There are many and better investment opportunities other than cbj poorperly.

Cbj corp track record in the last few decades should have taught you to take their plan and marketing with a large pinch of salt.

First thing first , I am not an investor of Cyberjaya properties. Do not simply shoot .

Secondly, whether Cyberjaya properties do badly or not, it does not affect future GDP of Malaysia..

Thirdly if Cyberjaya does very well in Data Centres, it would help GDP to grow.

Anway, yr discussion is out of topic, and assuming everyone is the investor of Cyberjaya..which is not.
