It's a long term strategy. Look at PKNS Seri Selangor golf course in Kota Damansara, built in 1998, land price has increased 100 times, and now PKNS cash out to build more affordable home.
Thank you for yr sharings.
Yes I agree , it is perfectly good from an investment/business point of view. No doubt about it .
But Govt plans ( or propose ) to forfeit 20% of leasehold lands from property developers once their land leases expire and re allocate the lands for low cost houses . Is it fair ? and also , Govt intends to impose on the developers to build 1 block of low cost housing when let say they plan to build 2 blocks of highrise.
PKNS is State owned entity and is under MB ( in charge ) . How come , they go the other way , by building a golf club ? whereas other developers are told to build more low cost housing ?
Mind u , foreign funds come in Malaysia with extreme large amount of $ this year , and politicians just say and act what they want ( so called controversy..) What is their long term Plan for Malaysia ? Not easy to attract foreign money to Malaysia ..so to speak
They think the Foreigners are somehow blinded ...
