Before "outside" developers were brought to CBJ, cyberview did developed some high rise. CBJ only became hot when the herd followed "outside" developers.

Unless cbj population could doubled in 2 years and tripled in 5 years, oversupply could be staggering.

Satellite township like shah Alam, Bangi took many years to double it's population and that was with industries. So far, cbj has only failed initiative e.g it, entertainment, etc to show.

But cbJ lovers claimed CBJ is the bestest township in the entire universe. BTW, is the reason why I am here for the fun.

BTW, the reality of the market demand for the 20+ wip towers is nowhere near as bleak as what you're trying hard to portray.

For example, the largest project under construction in cyberjaya (i.e. Lakefront prima with 7 towers 23-storey each) was 100% sold through balloting in december 2016 (8,736 applicants for 1,932 units offered - around 4.5x oversubscription; 90% of applicants aged below 40; 47% single; 42% female).

Like-for-like (i.e. location, type, size, facilities and built-quality), prima houses are about 15% cheaper than what offered by private developers (as prima takes less profit margin for itself).

The massive 4.5x oversubscription is clear proof of a huge pent-up demand for residential properties in cyberjaya. However, due to the generally soft property market nationwide, potential buyers are resorting to a waiting game for better deals.

Hence private developers are advised to take heed of this signal - not necessarily via direct headline price reduction, as it would be unfair to their already purchasers, but by offering better financing package (which would effectively lowered the headline price).

I just signed SPA for maple residence few days ago, and I am happy that I made this choice after visited few other townships. I just think this is where I want to stay with my family (I am not saying this is the best township in malaysia, just it suits me). To my surprise, the sales are pretty good although at current climate.
Would move into cbj in 2-3 years time and looking forward to meet all the good neighbours there. :-)

Yes, double storey, the show unit is ready at the actual site, I think you can visit them if interested. I booked before the show unit is ready and I am happy with the design.

Few reasons why I buy into cbj:
1) access to kl city center via klia transit (which I am taking now) and alternatively via MEX.
2) Chinese primary school will be available for my kids
3) wide road, not many cars
4) big unit size + freehold
5) ioi city mall is nearby
