Alternative broadband providers (non KL)

So, since Streamyx regularly goes on strike in Malacca, anyone know of any alternative to using that p.o.s? Right now, I'm willing to pay more for the service as long as I can get a reasonable latency and stable connection to WoW.
Apparently there is a broadband provider that uses a satellite connection here, but I've heard that satellite is not good for games due to the way the data is transmitted, which is good for downloading, bad for streaming.
Any others?

Any others? Thanks! i'm in melacca too.. got satellite connection?? never heard b4.. i think there is no any wired internet provider in melacca other then TmNet.

Cant remember but it was pricy at the time. I think I am willing to pay tho. Streamyx is cheap but lousy as hell.
