otai2 can help me troubleshoot my kapcai?
abit tl:dr though

yesterday on highway engine suddenly no power
throttle no response n if pull the clutch straight stall
electrical all ok

the fuel indicator's blinking but there's still fuel in the tank as i can start the bike but not immediately after stall maybe like 30sec

ride for few km n it happened again
this time longer mayb 2-3min before can start again
ride slowly, exit highway n refuel
luckily no more stalling despite rode more than after the 1st stall

once refueled all seems ok no jerky whatsoever even tried full throttle
can still go 200 no sweat (damn scary though long time didn't full throttle) so i assume things like fuel pump, air filter n spark plugs are all ok

in case it happen again, what should i look for? nowadays evening owes raining 1 it'd be sucks to stuck in the middle of highway

nvr ran out of fuel yet
blinking only but according to manual if starts blinking still hv 3.5L of fuel which is good for ~100km

but got 1 time i fell n engine died i assume bcos fuel can't reach the pump
i got up n immediately switch off the bike
should be <30sec
will that damage the pump?
also, will the condition worsen?

didn't mention how to check the vent in the cap
can i use wd40?

manual mentioned not to use compressed air to blow the vent in the cap

so changed the fuel pump d thursday nite
tested kaw2 after that
all seems well
friday go to work no issue
going back from work n it hitted me again
so i guess my previous pump is ok

things to note:
1) FI light nvr lights up when it happens - can't decode
2) if i managed to start it n rev to speed say 120+ it'll run longer
3) the longer i wait before restarting the longer it'll run - something's overheating? not the engine for sure as the light didn't light on n fan is working

ya normal n still reddish

i think i may hv found the culprit
a friend of mine advised to inspect the vds cos his friend faced similar symptom n replacing the vds solved the issue

followed the manual n the vds failed the test
so dismantled mine n guess what...found water vapour & the PCB inside was slightly corroded
cleaned n greased where necessary
re-tested n passed

hope it's the 1
