Ok, several users have posted their experience of having their annual fee of UOB YOLO Platinum Credit Card waived.

In short, for current users of UOB YOLO Platinum Credit Card, what is the best method (higher success percentage), to waive the annual fee for the second year of using the card?

1. Call UOB Customer Service, and directly request for annual fee waiver, after annual fee is posted in the transaction history of the card, in UOB PIB website, or;

2. Call UOB Customer Service to cancel UOB YOLO Platinum Credit Card. Then, wait a few days for the retention team to call and offer annual fee waiver.
For Method 1, I think that we cannot request for annual fee waiver, before the annual fee is posted, right? 

Method 2 is a bit risky, because if the cardholder is not lucky enough to get a call for the retention team, then the card is considered fully cancelled.

Waa. Like that 1st day whole Malaysia citizen people who holds yolo card are extremely "traffic jam" of online to get 8% cap at RM50?
I/m also to decide whether abondon this card or not.
Getting more n more ridiculous t&c already.

Saw the pbb quantum card is quite useful for me. But damn sad both pbb quantum card don't have cashback for petrol. 
I also afraid ONE card also revised t&c. Hopefully it won't do so..
Otherwise no idea to choose what cc already..
