QUOTE(??!! @ Mar 28 2017, 01:08 AM) Just wondering if Etiqa car insurance & Cukai Tanah payment online with YOLO will be eligible for CB ? The marketing girl called me. Checked it's 0% coz I even asked her if I BT RM6000, RM1000 is what I need to pay every month, she said yes.I just hantam reply to the sms..But no one from UOB called since like 2 weeks back. Today a sales person called me to offer a 3.9% bal transfer So I went--- huh? I thought it is 0%?? Seems she's not calling with regards to my sms reply earlier. Anyway she told me if I received the sms, the 0% transfer will be available..claimed it's only available for those who receive the sms. She said YES no fees, tax etc and 0% for 6 months. NO need to show any CC statement either. They will extend any amount we apply for subject to % of the credit limit assigned to the card. With a 6 figure free money, I can place it in some interest bearing deposits. Now I am tempted if I should do some work and get me a real nice dinner. I just can't find any TnC on this scheme. Just want to make sure it's really 0 cost. Anyone done this or have the link to the TnC? But be careful on one thing, I also checked with her which card it would be tied to as I would cancel my Visa Infinite within a week. Reason being I do not want to pay that huge amount of annual fee. She said it's tied to VI. Then I asked her whether can tie to other cards or not (YOLO etc) otherwise I will not do BT. She hesitated a bit but upon checking it's possible. If I did not ask and proceed with BT, it would have been tied to my Visa Infinite and I might be forced to early settle my BT or pay the annual fee. QUOTE(??!! @ Apr 2 2017, 05:31 PM) TQ for reminding me. I could also use my PBB V Signature . I was just wondering if it works for YOLO . Need to juggle my card usage a bit to optimise position You're welcomed. Just sharing what I thought, and must be careful coz some banks roll out BT to lock in customer. I parked mine with YOLO in the end as my YOLO annual fee only due in Nov. I got 2-year waiver for One card when I signed up last year. Probably yours too. Thanks for highlighting this. I've returned the VI when they first issued to me although I only applied for the ONE card. Will ask them to park the BT to ONE instead of YOLO. I don't remember paying annual fees for my ONE card. |

QUOTE(tonytyk @ Apr 20 2017, 10:27 PM) There was a week where I hit RM500 by Monday evening, not sure still can get or not, that's the first week they announced this campaign. Very limited number of people who can get the cashback so I didnt bother after that. |

QUOTE(luotang @ May 21 2017, 08:01 PM) Have been focusing on spending using UOB cards so to achieve RM500/week for RM50 cash back campaign. Even online spend I also use UOB (0.2% cashback) instead of CIMB (5% cashback) just to aim for the campaign. Wah, is it worth trying? Very limited chances. what time do you usually swipe? It is a do or die credit card usage strategy hope for the cash back |

Would like to check here, payment via JomPay is considered part of the qualifying spend right? i.e. pay RM200 JomPay + RM600 Online Spending (Lazada etc) - the RM600 online spending shall be entitled for 6% cashback which is RM36 (RM50 tier for RM800 spending)
Thanks |
