The truth is I only used for VOX, I don't see why it's not on YOLO. It's just a very typical online transaction. smile.gif

The list only came about few months back, compiled with the help of the feedback received here.

Online retail of any form, with the exception of insurance or bill payment or other excluded categories, can safely be assumed to have cash back.

But uob have the cashback promo now, up to rm 300. Quite tempting but allocation is too little (50x rm300 prize and 200 x rm50 prize)

I can allocate retail transactions > rm1500 on monday morning but i feel making into first 50 will be very very hard.

Wondering if the jompay or government transaction qualify for this cash back promo?

EC = E-COMMERCE ? If yes, it is considered as online transaction....

Definition of “e-commerce” from the Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary & Thesaurus © Cambridge University Press :
the business of buying and selling goods and services on the internet

correct, EC denotes E-Commerce, originally for online merchants which doesnt have brick & mortar shops or to segregate online sales vs retail sales.

nowadays, it's loosely known as online transaction.

for uob and pbb, "online" category is loosely based on online transactions with CNP (card-not-present). however, CIMB CR is more stricter, it must detect the online is also adhere to POSMODE 81 transaction type.

that's why the "range/coverage" of online transactions by CIMB CR is limited cuz some merchants didnt configure it properly.

Hi there, where is the cashback reflected? I bought a Malaysian Airlines ticket on their website last month using the Yolo card but I can't find the cashback anywhere. Don't have a current or savings account with them, just the YOLO card. Anyone know the answer? Thank you very much

Just a random question,

I've tried for the 1.5k - for the rm300 promo on mon morning - but funny thing is this - I did thru Unifi, when asked for the OTP, it showed 10/4/17 on the date.

Now, when going Maxis Pay, it showed 9/4/17 on the OTP date when it was clearly past midnight. Even Maxis Pay notified receipt on 10/4/17 moments later.

So technically the swipe cleared on 10/4, but does the OTP screen date determine it as previous week? The confusing part was that the same OTP screen under TM was correctly dated, but Maxis still lagging a day. Takut tak layak then I cry liao...

Sad lo - nothing appear until now. I think there might have been an error flag or something in their system.

Online transactions always seem to clear within a day. Still no status, but merchants acknowledge receipt already. I've a feeling im gonna get disqualified for since glitched stuff most likely won't be captured. cry.gif

the SMS OTP date/time is irrelevant, it just indicate a request is triggered by you.

for cb, the actual transaction date/time recorded in the system is the one to take note.

maxispay takes +2 days to be posted. you did on 10/4, it will get posted on 12/4, so tomorrow in UOB PIB you would see the maxispay transaction.

for unifi, depends on where you made the payment. usually +1 day after. if via uobpayonline, sometimes +2 days later.

if too kancheong, just call CS la. they can tell you exactly the transaction date/time for your unifi and maxispay.

just a call away to have peaceful days ahead laugh.gif

next time, try not to do it TOO early or too exact at 12:00:00am brows.gif your system time may not be same as bank's system time or merchant's system time.

even if everything resides locally in malaysia, there could be few minutes off across all parties (you vs merchant/payment gateway vs bank).

i always call bank directly to query the date, time, or MCC if i have doubt. they are checking directly from the system, so it's accurate.

No la.. i tunggu until 12:05 tongue.gif Thats why I mentioned was weird - TM OTP update sudah at 12:00 or 12:01. But until 12:10 lidat Maxis Pay OTP screen (paid 2nd) still bo update to next day. But when pay, the email notification instant and updated (but from Maxis portal).

Time difference also not quite likely unless server is outside Msia? Spore also same time zone bah.. Takkan server dekat Bangladesh pulak hahaha.. I'll give them a ring after tomorrow then.
