Stating it's too long ?

It's within the guideline based on side to side length comparison if you open both of the screenshot side to side.

If my signature is too long I think I've came across its so many ppl violating it already

Please clarify hye

This logic doesn't make sense because that's the exact length given as the measurement even if my large text were to overlap certain amount of lines, it doesn't exceed the exact measurement.

If the exact font size used on the original measurement is 4 then if I using a font 6.

If I type 2 lines of font 6, it will equal to 3 lines of font 4.

P:S raymondtong94, your signature seems to be longer than mine in length, shouldn't your signature be nuked as well ?

Look at what I measured

I put my thumb on line 15 and compared my signature

Its way off from being too long

Read Line 15 - All images, text and all must end here, I'm not even using any image in the first place, it's all plain TEXT

So I'm judging you as well based on your total length is lengthier than mine, by the mod standard, should be nuked as well.

Mind if I also ask if Mod get special treatment for the size of the signature they can put as per this attachment of mod hye signature which clearly violate the signature rule?

ok, so i tried to view it under 1024x768.
after switching to that resolution, mine's total 14 lines, which is within the R&R, and so are yours (not the total lines). which this may be a mistake by the reporter?

i'm taking a guess it got reported not because of length but the content.

Since there is no direct definition by the admin on "Commercial Advertising" aside from (except links to threads in the Trade Zone).

Then I would say agent, individuals and sellers in the forum would be affected including anyone who put anything in their signature that doesn't link to a thread in the Trade Zone.

E.g
I'm ABC
Sellling Vending machines, Plumbing, House Repair
0123456789
Online Service, 24 Hours Repair etc
100% Money Guarantee Back

above signatures would be deemed illegal by your standard. Which is no different from what I'm putting in my signature.

example of such signature should also be nuked in this case because it has element of Commercial Advertising

So should Lowyat Forum admin, staff & mod be so strict on this? if yes, please kindly vet through the forum for members signature otherwise I would feel that I'm being cherry picked just because I was reported by some member because they are not "Happy" with my signature.

Otherwise if it's no, then things remain as status quo.

Mod very busy. They will nuke all if you report it. They can't go to everyone's sig to check.

unfortunately this is how it works, nobody can make script to check everyone's signature all the time, it's up to forum users to help police the forums.
