if your car OBD compliant for sure you can display all the info on screen using your carpc. The device (interface unit) can be found here -> http://www.vitalengineering.co.uk/support.htm. If you want to replace original meter altogether, Win XP definitely not the suitable OS. You need a dedicated device for example embedded system running RTOS.
