Hmm, didn't know you put wifi on your car PC..cool idea. Can just park outside starbucks and go online.

Btw, just realised something-even if thieves detect your PC from the wifi signals or the wireless mouse signals, when they break into your car they won't know what to look out for..and it would be a lot of trouble trying to dismantle that PC to take it away. Not to mention that is not worth much anymore..probably not even RM500.

And it would also be hard to hide it on a scooter.

simple. integrate a web camera, use gprs system to transmit the image through internet. So you can monitor your car and even post the thief face to yutube.

That is brilliant man! But problem is, the PC must be running for the webcam to work..battery flat le.. hmm.gif

But worth looking into.

bro..
why dont you modify your power supply so can straight away connect to battery wihout inverter?
*
There are power supplies that can directly connect to the battery, but quite expensive. And modifying the usual one is not as easy as you think. Don't even think about running the PC 12V line straight from the battery, its horribly unstable-you'll be lucky if you don't fry your PC. Still need a PSU to regulate the voltages.

If you look at his spec, its not worth stealing at all..can replace everything with stuff from LYN garage sales for a few hundred bux only..and you'll get a even better spec for that matter.. brows.gif
