Labtop

A word that inexperienced college freshmen (most often girls) call their new laptops.

College Freshman: I just got my new labtop, it's awesome!
Experienced Geek: Laptop.
College Freshman: Yeah, that's what I said! Labtop!
Are both of you college freshmen who are coincidentally female in gender? drool.gif

hhmm
that's not true
i played my xbox with my 15.4" lappie.

all you need is a tv card w composite input or a tv box(usb)

hope that helps

anyway a 19" lcds are selling at RM500+. Maybe its worth investing since a pcmcia tv can easily touch RM300+ and tv box RM200+

No , the TVbox or tv card will output really undesirable graphics . It's not even HD to begin with , as it takes in as normal TV display aka SDTV . If you really wants the best quality , but at the cheapest price , then the solution is CRT .

xbox graphics wasn't that good so my tv card was good enough
if u wanna fully utilize ur 360 graphics, use these

get a lcd (RM500+ for a 19" wide) or a 2nd hand CRT (RM100+ for 19" and RM200+ for 21")
and
a microsoft vga cable (new one around RM145, second hand one around RM100)

Hope that helps

What about those 3rd party VGA cables? Are they any good? I think they sell for around 60....that's quite a bit of savings. But is the quality ok? Is there even any difference??

Many ppl had double vision w the 3rd party cables. If u eventually buy the ori cables instead, it wouldn't be much of a savings laugh.gif
