As you recall I did an unboxing for MSI PE60 a couple of weeks back. I took it for a special calibrating and I love it. I've been carrying it around to office, work, gatherings because I am constantly editing photos and designing banners. My good friend, let's call him A-kun.
A-kun have been with my a lot these few weeks, he saw my new laptop and gave it a try. How we use to edit photos is by carrying a ipad or iphone with us to check on the colors of our photographs. He's so impress with my PE60, he decide he needs a 2nd working laptop too. And here's a PL60 from his side.
So He went and bought one, I thought might as well we do another unboxing.
All P-series comes with a sleek briefcase laptop bag. It's Targus lvl, so its good and sturdy.
Some peel porn.... kidding. I wouldn't peel the skin off unless it's tattered close to dog bite.
As stated in the images, it has the older CPU but still i7, and still works. Since we are not using any high-end programs anyways. And it runs on 1050 , 2GB may not be sufficient for games like soon-to-be-realease Nier Automata sort of game on PC. But running it on 30fps on Overwatch wouldn't be a problem
We did a small testing immediately with my dolls snapshots, the color is as good as PE60 after calibrating.
There are 5 options for types of view mode you wanted to use ur laptop for. I'll go for designer since this is suppose to act as a working laptop.
It has 3 3.0usb and the basic jacks and ports that a basic laptop has. As usual moderate enough.
I personally think that P-series is a underrated designer laptop from MSI. MSI is definitely well known for their gaming laptops however people lost track of the whole idea of P-series. P-series is not a gaming laptop. It's a designer laptop designer to be sufficient, fast and classy.
I hope you like my unboxing, I will stress test the GPU and see how fast can it goes for gamings.

QUOTE(JayceOoi @ Mar 24 2017, 05:39 PM) Which type display panel? IPS? FHD. I am not a very keen person that focuses on IPS, since it's more of a angle problem to different individuals. I like the true color technology that this laptop has on sRGB profiles.

Msi used to be notorious for high failure motherboard because of cheap Taiwan capacitors. No doubt their prices are very competitive.

I think your information is outdated. Pricing for MSI now is relatively higher than other brands on the market, due to improvement of product quality & focus change towards higher-end gaming hardware.

If you see properly, they do have a wide range of price . They still retain the same strategy like last time. The only difference is that now they do includes high end products. They have better support too. Unlike acer or cancer i call them, still retaining the same terrible strategy msi once had. The last time they manage to bring major changes to their sales reputation is by slapping every of their products with the term, "military" built if i remembered correctly. Their famous term for gpu which is twinfrozer. That brought really good hype into avid pc builders.

Agreed, MSI recently has really been adjusting their strategy to cater for the growing needs of gamers. With all the cool features and marketing terms, definitely created some fuzzes on the high-end PC market.
