PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds launched on Steam Early Access this past Thursday, and according to its developer, Bluehole, it has already raked in over $11 million in sales. The multiplayer battle royale shooter also drew a sizable crowd of combatants with a peak of 67,000 concurrent players, says Bluehole's press release. People didn't just play, but also watched: Bluehole reports over 150,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch.

Don't expect to have above 60fps from this game , it will have occasional stutters assuming from loading different areas of the large map . Every game you get matched in will at least have 95 players or so , maxed I think is 100. Latency seems pretty okay, since it does have an Asia server which is chosen by default.

It is pretty fun to play with groups or even solo , I just finished a solo match not long ago and got 1st , the adrenaline rush in this game is insane lol. Also pro tip , remember to restart your game every 1-2 games or so , I noticed lags were getting worst after playing 3 hours straight , FPS dropped to the point of watching a slideshow , no kidding. Here's hoping that they will optimize the game , I heard first optimization patch will come this week. Lets hope so. GLHF!

This week we roll out our first monthly patch. This patch will the first of many to address performance, fix bugs and add new content to the game. I must stress that we will not be able to fix all performance issues with a single patch. For this patch, we focused on stabilizing performance for all users, trying to ensure there would be less FPS drops, and improve performance for those with lower spec systems. Optimizing the game will take us time, and will continue all through early access, so please have patience while we work to improve the game experience for all players.

not one single match encounter with horrible lag. Teleporting everywhere even on Asia server. Straight refunded the game

what connection u using? from day 1, i been playing with 3 friends all having no issue. the only problem i had was like random disconnections which was fixed.

but maybe because i play during midnight only

really boring u need to camping a lot to win how's that for a skill

u dont take a gun and rush to frontline like rambo in real life

better go play cod, csgo if you prefer fast pace and to look for player to kill

this game is kinda like simple version of Arma without all military stuff

but ah,

i think Battlefield 4 is better for you,  if u prefer some tactics and team play strategy, also with some epic killing moment
playerunknown battleground is time consuming, need patience when engaging enemy or hide from them, thats what make the game fun in a way

and yeah, camping is also the way but u can't camping all the time if u are out of area

yea finally the game grew on me and i won my first solo lol, but solo is so random and boring

yea solo takes most skill because you can't get carried and also need a lot of luck, squad pubs full of china prc can't speak english and they just parachute everywhere

Join Discord channels, one that I was introduced to is "PU Battlegrounds Asia".

To play in a squad, best to do so with friends. Communication is key in squad games. Furthermore, as a squad, camping isn't necessary as much compared to solo. You can fan out when you move, have one drive around as bait to flush campers, more dynamics to the game. Get a squad of friends, you will enjoy it more. 

I play more aggressive in solo

usually attack enemy from back or when they are distract, being stealth most of time

i dont always face to face engaging cos my connection sucks, usually wont win fight by face to face,

I always got killed first before enemy in my sight, some kind of delay, or i shoot them in face with shotgun, got blood but didn't register and still I died, he still full hp,
i pick things up also got delay 

so i usually attack by surprise

yea that's why i dont play solo anymore
what server are you playing, i'm playing on asia a bit laggy but not that lag as you described, even US server is still playable

in solo play usually not that lag, quite smooth

maybe when more player nearby, you get more connection delay and game fps drop too

can i know the minimum graphic requirement to play this game? im really interested in playing this game, but my graphic is quite low end

Was using GTS450, totally unplayable, after enter game straight crash 
Had to play in 720p, then perfectly smooth

Now using GTX 1050 Ti, 1080p on high can get around 30 to 60 fps

Good game, but you'll need a decent PC to run it with acceptable fps. That being said, I'm playing with everything on very low 786p and still having a blast.

Recommend 8/10. Would be 10/10 if optimized and controls/shooting mechanics weren't as clunky.

hi guys, finally bought the game, any steam launch options to get better FPS?

What are ur specs? I'm playing on an I3 4150,  r7 260x, 2x4GB kvr with everything on very low 786p n game fluctuates around avg 55 fps open areas and 40 in cities.

Not on my PC now but I use sm4 and DX10.

Also be sure to restart the game client every couple of games to avoid memory leak issues.

Should be able to but whether u get acceptable frames is another story. Check my post above as I have slightly better specs than you desktop though for more info.

If u have fast internet give it a try. If it runs like crap then refund. The game is fun and quite stable for an early access title, but its optimization currently sucks. Game is not worth RM75 in its current state IMO. Hopefully By the end of this year when there's a bit more content n optimize it a bit more itll be worth its price.

If u do end up refunding n are looking for another game I recommend u check out rising storm 2. Good game and 6 full SG servers with good community.
