Had my i7 7700K delidded by tissue2306 last week. Friendly guy, definitely knows his stuff. My i7 has been running at 4.7GHz, hitting >80°c at max load. After delidding, idle drops to 20°C ++, even under 20°c with aircon and the low temps at nights, and maxing out at 70°c-ish. Under normal usage max loads are hitting high 60°c.

Too bad my i7 won't run stable at 5GHz. I am now running it at 4.8GHz at 1.3v. 4.9GHz boots and able to run, but fails stress tests. 5.0GHz boots into Windows fine, but craps out even at normal usage. I'm not comfortable with 1.4v, but the temperature's great, so no complaints here.
