My i7-4790k have been causing me issues with really high temps. I am currently at 4.6ghz OC at 1.28v but the temperature idles at 50c and at full load it is around 75c. This is with a Cryorig R1 Ultimate CPU cooler.

Hi there, I've already delidded my cpu but the liquid metal application part is where i'm not very confident to do myself. Currently i just reapplied a normal kyronaut and temps are not much improving.
Can you only do the liquid metal & sealant application? 4790k btw |
