Depend which size that u like. For me iPad mini too small

Get the new iPad, it is cheaper than the Mini, you get a larger screen and you get a faster processor. Unless size is the main factor, getting a Mini doesn't make sense since it is so outdated already
Apple wants to target the Education market, the problem with that means that they have to keep things low. They are up against Chromebooks and even the new Windows 10 S machines which Microsoft announced that their partners will have laptops starting from USD$189 onwards. Macs in general already are normally too expensive in schools here and when I follow Apple to our local schools here to sell, even an iPad Air 2 was such a difficult sell, with the new cheap iPad starting from RM1549 and adding in the further education discounts, it makes so much more sense.
